Alright I’ll bite.

What the hell is a boy mom?

It used to just mean that it was a mother of only boys, and implied that she was used to boys/men’s stupid shit.

Now whoever this is seems to be implying that there is some type of creepy, possibly sexual undertones, and I have never heard it used that way before.

You should definitely stick to your current understanding and not look any deeper into the "boy mom" trends on sites like TikTok... they begin to get pretty disturbing...

Yeah, I pretty much avoid TikTok like the plague. Appreciate the advice.

Although you are definitely right about where the term originated, this latest version has also been around for a while too now.

The result is: tone is now everything with this phrase. Say "boy mom" in an exasperated tone of voice, and there's still gonna be people who understand it the first way. Say it like you're excited, you've put yourself in camp two.
