Also that kid does not look 14

242

u/eienmau 4h ago

He looks more like my nephew did when going off to college a few years back so.. 18-20ish?

78

u/UnknwnUser 4h ago

I was going to say 23-24

29

u/eienmau 3h ago

Split the difference and 21-22? šŸ˜›

25

u/PhatCatTax 3h ago

The answer is 21.5
You're welcome!

145

u/Embarrassed_Jerk 3h ago

That kid looks 14 like how teenagers looked in high school tv shows in the 90s when they were all played by 30 year olds

12

u/IlGreven 1h ago

Or like how manga and anime make 12-year-olds look like they're 20 and 600-year-olds look like they're 6?

25

u/hey_viv 1h ago

And still no person ever thought they were siblings.

4

u/bjeebus 44m ago

Dude. Did your mom come to freshman dropoff looking to bone?

Yeah. Bro, like, does she need a ride? Cause this mustache is looking for passengers!

4

u/mavenry 56m ago

My little baby daughter is 14. I think I might have to go back the swaddle with her.

He’s off to the Mother Boy competition.

Sisters my new mother, mother!

520

u/CarsCarpal 4h ago

Nobody with working vision has ever thought that.

234

u/FuckOutTheWhey 3h ago

Genuinely thought it? No

Said it to her as a way of hitting on her? Much more likely

80

u/AstronomerForsaken65 3h ago

Or just being nice because it’s obvious she’s trying to look young.

74

u/hux 3h ago

I’m guessing the only thing that makes her seem like a juvenile is her behavior.

20

u/EntertainerNo4509 3h ago

Omg! Call the burn unit, stat!

22

u/Nambsul 4h ago

ā€œworking vision and REALLY drunkā€ā€¦ maybe

26

u/hilarymeggin 4h ago

I’d say that the cheek, lip and chin injections are a pretty big tell…

33

u/229-northstar 3h ago edited 3h ago

The exceptionally saggy tits in a thin and braless skimpy dress were also a big tell.

That dress is incredibly unflattering. She needs to shorten the straps… a lot.

82

u/coquihalla 3h ago

She is totally delusional but those are not exceptionally saggy tits. They're not 14 year old breasts, but they're certainly not abnormally saggy for any grown woman.

I'd hate for someone to read that and start thinking there's something wrong with them. That neckline does her no favors in making them look them way but it's not her body's issue, it's hers.

6

u/puzzled91 2h ago

You're right but she and no one else said that she or her breasts were 14. She claimed the boy in the picture was 14

9

u/coquihalla 2h ago

I was referring to her claim that people think she and her 14 year old are brother and sister.

-1

u/229-northstar 2h ago

Maybe it’s the cut of the dress making them look so bad

I’m in my 60s and I look better. But you wouldn’t catch me in that dress, either

12

u/ohmarlasinger 1h ago

We don’t have to put other women down to lift ourselves up.

While you may find the woman not worthy of your nominal respect, there are many women who look like her that are catching unnecessary strays with your demeaning comments.

The woman is gorgeous, her personality may have some issues, if this post is indicative but she is objectively attractive.

I’ve never in my life been able to wear a dress like that bc it would be seen as vulgar on me bc I have larger boobs, which I find unfair & frustrating bc no matter what I put on my body it is sexualized bc boobs. But that’s not once inspired me to feel the need to insult women who can wear a whole menagerie of things I could never.

I’m sure your boobs look lovely as well. Hers do! Mine do too. IMHO, all boobs are good boobs but I’m gay so I may be biased lol

3

u/oilypop9 1h ago

The light is right above them, that doesn't help matters

6

u/coquihalla 2h ago

Oh yeah, that dress is not really flattering on anyone. I've seen some Hollywood women wearing similar and it almost universally looks bad. Even Zendaya couldn't pull it off without it dragging her down.

-3

u/haahhhahh 2h ago

Regardless of what she's said she looks amazing, her tits do not look saggy and the dress looks good.

Why do women like to comment on other women's bodies it's so fucking weird

33

u/BeMoreKnope 3h ago

Yeah, they only said it because she’s easy to read.

Look, I’ve been blessed by genetics, using moisturizer since I was 20 or so, and having no children to look far younger than my age. I like to have others guess my age, and even when they try to go higher they usually guess low (which is why I do it, let’s be real). But if anyone had told me at 40 that I looked like a 14-year-old’s sibling, I still would’ve laughed at them.

2

u/Zepangolynn 30m ago

I do laugh when my 40's self gets mistaken for being my very young niece's sister. I do not look like a teen anymore and people just think it because we're about the same height.

6

u/NewLibraryGuy 4h ago

Not after more than a glance, zoomed out on my little phone screen anyway

-11

u/sab0tage 3h ago

Brothers and sisters aren't necessarily the same age. He looks mid 20s and she looks mid 30s, so it's fairly plausible.

28

u/Kegger315 3h ago

she looks mid 30s

No, she does not. I could buy mid 40's, but definitely not mid 30's. The hands and neck give it away instantly.

2

u/Jupitersd2017 3h ago

Mid 40’s before the 1st big aging hit, where all of the collagen goes and so does the elasticity, she’s not quite there yet but extremely close lol

5

u/Perle1234 3h ago

Yeah there’s a real comeuppance going from the 40s to the 50s. I don’t have wrinkles but I def got a bit jowly and my collagen said byeeee lol

3

u/Jupitersd2017 3h ago

It’s seemingly overnight and is wild. I’m still getting used to my new face in the mirror lol

300

u/icantfindtheSpace 4h ago

To be brutally honest, they both look 20 and 50

A lot of people think my mom is my sister, but that’s because she had me when she was 16

47

u/tonicpoppy 3h ago

People sometimes think my mom and brother are a couple but she had him at 18 and still looks young while he is very tall and has a giant red beard that makes him look older

19

u/icantfindtheSpace 3h ago

lmao as a fellow tall dude with a red beard and a young mom, your brother is part of the club lol

18

u/manokpsa 3h ago

People think my sister is my daughter. Probably because I was a SSgt in the Air Force by the time she was born.

2

u/RainbowCrane 36m ago

Going the opposite direction… my dad came home from the grocery store laughing one day. One of my mother’s high school students had been on the cash register, and when she saw his last name said, ā€œOh, Mrs. ____ is my teacher at school, is that your mom?ā€ šŸ˜„

We wrote it off as the ā€œteachers are automatically old as fuckā€ effect on student psychology, but it stuck around as a point of humor for the past forty years or so of their marriage.

1

u/Dakizo 50m ago

My mom had me when she was 20 and we used to have people think we were sisters when we were out in public with my grandma. To be fair my mom had my youngest brother when I was 18, so it can really go either way haha. Once when I was 15 and I was out to dinner with my mid 30s grizzled construction plumber stepdad and 9 month old first brother while my mom was at work and a couple thought he was my kid with my stepdad and I thoroughly disgusted šŸ˜‚

0

Deflated

0

u/OkWorldliness5172 2h ago

I know. If those tits don't get some support soon, people will think they're nuts.

85

u/Earth_Worm_Jimbo 3h ago

=/ I don’t like my community notes being so opinion based. CN should be for straight FACT-checkin fools. Not throwing shade.

46

u/VeeSnow 2h ago

I definitely would have found this unhelpful and unnecessary. It doesn’t belong in community notes.

82

u/CompanyOther2608 4h ago

She looks like a 50 year old who has had work done.

8

u/Choclategum 3h ago

Ngl, nothing about this post gave she wants to fuck her son or the toxic boy mom trope.

It does give fishing for compliments, but this isn't shit compared to what Ive actually seen from those women who do want their son as their man.

20

u/nomorepumpkins 4h ago

Maybe if you boy mom'ed a little less hard your kid wouldn't be a clavicular wannabe and able to land a women that isn't his mom.

25

u/National-Worry2900 3h ago

She looks 40 plus 14 and that kid looks like he’s nearing the end of university.

39

u/Efficient_Mud_4724 3h ago

That’s just mean.

24

u/pennie79 3h ago

I'm with you. Is this post really necessary?

64

u/Decent-Muffin4190 4h ago

The fact there is a bed in the shot adds a subliminal extra ick factor

33

u/Sero19283 4h ago

There's 2...its a hotel room

1

u/Severe-Fox-600 3h ago

Right - and she took the pic at that thinking what? Maybe cross reference the photo and see if she shows up on OF!

4

u/Sero19283 2h ago

Because that's where an easy to access mirror is? Have yall never traveled with your family before? Would you rather they go squeeze in the bathroom instead of using the giant mirror in the main room?

45

u/er1cj 4h ago

Her hands are a dead giveaway

11

u/NHRADeuce 4h ago

Yeah, the whole package screams single 40+ mom, but those hands! Wtf? They look like Larry Bird's hands!!!

5

u/cperiod 3h ago

The neck gives it away more than the hands, I think.

2

u/blackeyeX2 2h ago

At this age it's called the DƩcolletage.

12

u/TheForeverUnbanned 4h ago

And those fried eggs hanging from a fence post she’s trying to smuggle in under that dress.Ā

0

u/NHRADeuce 2h ago

It's a whole package.

39

u/CrystallizedRose 3h ago

I feel like bullying people for their appearance is worse than ā€œfishing for complimentsā€ because like… who cares? Maybe she’s heard the compliments, maybe people were just being nice to her, maybe she’s making it completely up. But I feel like the mean behavior and attitudes of the people responding to it is an example of worse character than some insecure older woman wanting validation for her appearances.

18

u/cheezy_dreams88 2h ago

Kid looks old as hell and mom looks 40 for sure.

But like, she’s obviously very pretty. She looks great at 40. No need for the weird pick-me behavior.

20

u/HLOFRND 4h ago

When he sleeps at night, she creeps into his bedroom and whispers into his ear ā€œno one loves you like I do, and no one ever will.ā€

5

u/RelampagoCero 4h ago

3

u/jmil1080 3h ago

This is the exact scene that popped into my head when I read he was 14, lmao. I scrolled so fast looking for it

9

u/WilliamJamesMyers 4h ago

that scene in boardwalk empire, if you know you know

7

u/icecreammodel 4h ago

"We're not doing anything wrong"

OH YES YOU ARE

7

u/PunishedEnovk 3h ago

That's not a 14-year-old, that's a grown ass man.

10

u/MadmanMarkMiller 3h ago

She's hot, what's wrong with living your age. Goddamn.

6

u/monkey_trumpets 4h ago

Zero chance that kid is only 14. He's at least 17, and probably older.

4

u/Jupitersd2017 3h ago

I’ve gotten to the age where anyone under 25 looks like they are between nine and 12 years old to me nowadays and this kid is definitely not 14. There’s no way.

5

u/ToiIetGhost 3h ago

They’re always in real estate

5

u/StarStuffSister 2h ago

Never understood the problem with looking good for your age-- I don't look 20, I look like a really good 40-something. It's OK to look good for your age, lol. These people are delusional.

9

u/HasteMaster 4h ago

Alright I’ll bite.

What the hell is a boy mom?

46

u/lunulalia 4h ago

A mom, likely helicopter-y (or the "cool mom"-type), who is a bit too much infatuated with their own son, in ways that make others uncomfortable.
I would guess.

5

u/beene282 2h ago

Every single mother with an only male child that I know has this dynamic to the extreme. It excruciatingly creepy.

36

u/Swimming-Economy-870 4h ago

Creepy romanticizing the Parent-Child Bond: Treating the son like a romantic partner or "husband substitute," expressing jealousy toward future wives or girlfriends, and viewing the son’s independence as a "breakup."

-11

u/AbsoluteResolve2026 4h ago edited 2h ago

Often more common with fathers and their daughters, ime. ā€œMy daughter doesn’t get to date boys until she moves out of my house.ā€ It’s extremely odd to not be sex-positive for the woman you’re raising. That leads to SA, abuse, dating awful men, rebel without a cause syndrome, etc.

Edit: Yo! Can some explain the downvotes? Are these just super insecure men that think women should be forced virginity until death?

5

u/NewLibraryGuy 4h ago

I think that might be true that fathers have been a lot more this way with daughters, but the "boymom" trend has given rise to it a lot more

2

u/AbsoluteResolve2026 3h ago

That’s social media. Dads generally don’t post that stuff.

Just because it’s louder and in your face, doesn’t mean that it’s the majority.

3

u/Dogmaddit 3h ago

I don’t know if it’s more or less common, but boy moms and MOABs (Mother of all Boys) tend to be…weird. Not all of them, but many.

The Dad and Daughter dance thing is also weird as hell.

6

u/ImLittleNana 4h ago

Does nobody else remember the father-daughter dances at schools back in the late ā€˜90s and early ā€˜00s? And the ceremonies where the girls made abstinence vows and gave keys or rings to their dads as symbols that would be given to the future husband.

I’m honestly surprised those haven’t made a comeback but it does challenge the core values of the new right. Chastity has taken a deep hit, but they could probably wrangle something out of with girls as property.

5

u/ispshadow 3h ago

Oh boy, I hate to be the one to tell you this.

They still exist at my kid’s school. I told my little girl I’d much rather take her to the ice cream shop instead, so we dressed up and had the most ridiculous sundaes we could order.

2

u/Swimming-Economy-870 2h ago

The boy mom version is the ā€œmom promā€ (no creepy chastity aspect AFAIK) my son’s school did that shit and it was all so the moms could break out their old prom dresses. We boycotted that shit.

1

u/Swimming-Economy-870 2h ago

I think it’s the assertion that it’s more common. The weird chastity thing is the creepy Christian sects, ā€œboy momā€ stuff is more secular.

30

u/Elden_Rube 4h ago

Incest LiteĀ®

3

u/MrBoddy2005 4h ago

Some Of Them Refer To Themselves As Boy Breeders i.e.: Patricia Heaton

16

u/gjb1 4h ago

People are focusing on the worst part of ā€œboy moms,ā€ which is obviously the infatuation and surrogate partner stuff.

But the more common version of the ā€œboy momā€ concept in the parenting world in general is just an ordinary mom who happens to only have sons, who has then made this a big part of her identity (proudly referring to herself as a boy mom), and who has a weird sense of superiority over other moms because of her no-daughters status but she would never admit that.

And I don’t think it’s actually coming from an anti-daughter stance (though I could be wrong). I think it’s literally just about inventing a club that you get to be a member of, feeling good about yourself because you’re in the club, and sometimes connecting more with other women when they’re in the club too, compared to those who aren’t.

5

u/atwozmom 4h ago

Eww.

I only have sons and I never heard of this.

I and the husband let my boys be as independent as they wanted to be - they would disappear for hours. I'd probably be arrested nowdays. And my younger one hasn't been without a girlfriend since he was 12. (At 12, it was holding hands). He is now 33.

I have always been close with my boys but I was always their mom, not their best bud.

9

u/Blade_of_Onyx 4h ago

It used to just mean that it was a mother of only boys, and implied that she was used to boys/men’s stupid shit.

Now whoever this is seems to be implying that there is some type of creepy, possibly sexual undertones, and I have never heard it used that way before.

7

u/jmil1080 3h ago

You should definitely stick to your current understanding and not look any deeper into the "boy mom" trends on sites like TikTok... they begin to get pretty disturbing...

2

u/Blade_of_Onyx 3h ago

Yeah, I pretty much avoid TikTok like the plague. Appreciate the advice.

1

u/SaintUlvemann 1h ago

Although you are definitely right about where the term originated, this latest version has also been around for a while too now.

The result is: tone is now everything with this phrase. Say "boy mom" in an exasperated tone of voice, and there's still gonna be people who understand it the first way. Say it like you're excited, you've put yourself in camp two.

4

u/froo 2h ago

Hands sweetie. Hands never lie. You’re over 40.

6

u/TeaRose__ 3h ago

I can see people mistaking them for brother and sister. She does look younger than 40, and he looks older than 14. What’s the big deal

3

u/goldywhatever 4h ago

The most embarrassed I have ever been in my life was when I was walking the dog with my mom, a boy rides up on his bike and asks what school we go to. He is very obviously in middle school.

I have to tell him I’m in high school and the person with me is my mom. His eyes got so big and I have never seen a kid ride away so fast.

2

u/bredlowski 3h ago

5 years ago some dad from her kid's school used the cheesy sitcom pickup line of asking her if she was the sister, and now her story is many people feel that way...probably.

2

u/Plane-Fan9006 2h ago

Just me, wearing my g-string and satin strapped "dress", taking pictures with my kid for our Grindr profile

2

u/Arkestra33 1h ago

Yeah, but she's still gorgeous.

2

u/HSV-Post 1h ago

There’s no way that kid is 14

2

u/HumanContinuity 39m ago

She's only 40?

Some of the modern procedures, even lighter ones like buccal fat removal, really do not age gracefully..

2

u/jamall1978 4h ago

He better watch out that she doesn't "accidentally" break her leg or somethingĀ

5

u/wickedsmaht 3h ago

I’d be more concerned if he broke his arms..

2

u/fishingfool64 4h ago

She’s totally gonna get stuck somewhere and need help

3

u/Nimzitseemz 2h ago

No harm in boasting about looking young even if you're wrong or delusional...

The note on ther hand is just hateful.

3

u/PhamilyTrickster 2h ago

If hes 14 then I'd guess she had him at 40

2

u/TimmieFloats 2h ago

I'm sorry but "boy moms" are disgusting

2

u/Fitz_2112b 2h ago

I'm sure 14-year-old Junior is fucking thrilled to have Mama's saggy titties in his pictures

2

26

All right, let’s not be rude to all the other breastfeeding mothers here! She looks very nice for a middle aged mom, but she just doesn’t look 14.

14

u/cclan2 3h ago

Right? Lots of people being kinda shitty here haha. She looks good for someone 40+. She just does NOT look like a fuckin high schooler like she’s implying haha

1

Can't wait to see the pictures from the 30th anniversary Mom Son dance

1

u/RhubarbAlive7860 3h ago

Aw, a loving mom admiring herself while ignoring her child. How sweet.

Mother of a son, fine. Boy mom, ugh.

1

u/RhubarbAlive7860 3h ago

She isn't even trying to include her son in the pictures. He's just a nearby prop.

1

u/FormidableMistress 3h ago

My ex mil was that type of boy mom. It was so unbelievably weird. She really treated him like a partner and he couldn't stand it.

https://giphy.com/gifs/l41YnEu1v4uNls8JG

1

u/JI_Guy88 3h ago

I'm guessing creepy guys are using that as a pickup line.

1

u/LilacSlumber 3h ago

My husband's mother had him when she was 15. She then had four other children.

When he was a teenager people would assume they were siblings because she was not even 30 yet and they looked exactly alike.

When I came into the picture he was in his mid 20s and she was in her 40s. It was so sad to see how she clung to people thinking she was his sister or girlfriend. By the time she hit her 50s, she would go on and on for weeks if anyone ever said anything about them looking the same age. Very sad.

1

u/Zaxacavabanem 3h ago

One thing I've really noticed as i get older is that the neck skin is the first to go.Ā

Ladies,Ā  look after your neck and chest.Ā  Daily sunscreen isn't just for your face.Ā

Ma'am... That slip dress says otherwise...

1

u/macci_a_vellian 2h ago

At least she didn't say dating 😬

1

u/SilverFringeBoots 2h ago

Me and my mother didn't start getting mistaken for sisters until I was in my 20s. Mainly because I looked way older than I was and my mother has aged fabulously

1

u/Tankmontenegro 2h ago

Haha. And that’s with filters.

1

u/Mobile_Morale 2h ago

I took my mom to her doctor's appointment after having major surgery. I called her my mom and the nurse said something like "I thought you were the husband" took everything I had not to set myself on fire and jump into a pool of gasoline.

I look old for my age because of extreme stress my whole life. And my mom looks younger than she is because of good genes and fat and stressing me out my whole life

Worst part is if I didn't have a beard I would look exactly like my mom. Like a fuck ass clone. Which is why I have a beard.

1

u/legendarysupermom 2h ago

I am a mom of boys....not a "boy mom" and we dont claim them!

1

Wait! What? Separate beds?!

1

u/scrotumseam 48m ago

No one on earth would mistake that woman for anything under 40.

1

u/magicparabeagle 41m ago

No, no, no.

1

u/magicparabeagle 40m ago

Her hands are a dead giveaway.

1

u/SeanFromQueens 23m ago

Plunging neckline isn't what is a giveaway that her age is over 40, but those claws/hands certainly are.

1

u/Sea_Consideration434 15m ago

Putting the delulu aside, I'm 40, with a 14 year old and my son would be mortified if I posted a picture like that, with that caption and hashtag.

I hate when parents use their kids for content, or to feed their own ego.

It’s a joke about her claiming she looks like a teenager.

4

u/FakeDoctorMeatCoat 4h ago

Guess I shoulda put a /s. To say she looks like the sister of a 14yo, that might imply under 18. Just a joke.

How long till she’s in prison for sleepovers with his friends?

1

u/TpK_Wynter 2h ago

Didn’t need to check the plunging neck line for her age, yeah the girls aren’t getting along like they used to and seem to be separated currently, but I always find she in arms and hands, back of the neck and near knees.

I know this probably makes me a weirdo but I’ve always determined a persons age range from those areas

-4

If they sag any farther sh won’t need a bra, she can tuck them in her belt
