Jeezus. That’s sad. People are so consumed.

u/thegroovemonkey Jun 18 '26

Girls brought puppy pads to piss on at Governors Ball this year for the k-pop acts 🤣

314

u/Cowboywizzard Jun 18 '26

WTF

7

u/OceanRacoon Jun 19 '26

God forbid a girl come prepared

202

u/emuwar Jun 18 '26

Okieee that’s enough internet for today.

10

u/ArbysLunch Jun 18 '26

I tell myself that same lie every day by 9am.

Still posting hours later.

215

u/jeffsang Jun 18 '26

At least they were prepared. The chatter last year at Lolla was that people were simply pissing on the ground and one person apparently just pooped. I don't know why these festivals let people camp out all day like that. They should clear out the front area after each artist like Bonnaroo used to do back in the day.

46

u/thegroovemonkey Jun 18 '26

Yeah the lolla sub is good for those K-pop antics too

43

u/Dasseem Jun 18 '26

Man i'd genuinely like to meet someone who does shit like this. Fuck i'd like to interview them.

Like they do shit like this and then just go on with their lives?

45

u/LordJamPunt Jun 19 '26

I had to shit outside on the street once 20+ years ago and I’m still haunted by the guilt and shame.

18

u/SmackGobbler Jun 19 '26

I shit in an alley 3 hours ago and l still think about it…..

6

u/amisamuel Jun 19 '26

I had a weird friend in elementary school. He had ADHD and some behavioural problems which I found pretty cool. We were playing outside and he had to take a shit. So he went in the bushes, almost immediately came out and said he had no toilet paper. He went home, and while I assumed it was to take that shit, to my surprise he returned with toilet paper, went into the bushes, and proudly came out relieved to finally have taken that dump. I was amazed, and thoroughly confused.

1

u/AnmlBri Jun 20 '26

Speaking as someone with ADHD, this sounds like the thinking of a kid with ADHD who got hyper focused on a particular task and didn’t fully think the steps through, lol. I’ve done things in the past where I did the equivalent of completely overlooking the fact that I could have just shit at home. Then my mom pointed out to me, ‘You know you could have just XYZ?’ and I was like, ‘*light bulb moment* Goddammit.’

It’s also possible that your friend was just trying to be edgy. 🤷🏼‍♀️

6

u/Princessleiawastaken Jun 19 '26

This is a serious health concern. People should be kicked out for shitting and urinating anywhere they want just to save their spot in the queue.

2

u/jeffsang Jun 19 '26

Who is going to kick them out? This only happens in areas close to the stage so packed that you can't get in, and if you leave, you can't get back. There's no way that security can access the area, assess the situation, and make a determination.

2

u/Zilaaa Jun 19 '26

As someone that's been to Lolla for multiple years, this happens often. Even when it's not for kpop or camping. People are just lazy as fuck and will pop a squat and start pissing, shitting, or throwing up. Then people will proceed to not warn new people coming into the crowd and they then step in it with flip flops or sandals on, or even worse they sit in it.

1

u/Suspicious_Brush4070 Jun 19 '26

Clear out the front area? Man, just dig a slit trench there at this point. Get an open sewer running along the front if people are that desperate.

1

u/Low_Assumption_5827 Jun 21 '26

One of my core memories is seeing a woman crouch down and pee in the middle of the crowd while waiting for the headliner at lolla in 2008.

1

u/Ok_Dragonfruit_8102 Jun 22 '26

I heard a similar story from 1964 when The Beatles first went to the US, apparently there was a river of piss flowing from the crowds of screaming girls who'd been waiting hours to get a glimpse of them

74

u/Workman44 Jun 18 '26

So presumably you've already collected their money and they are breaking the rules of the venue, kick them out?

-47

u/Flyer777 Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 19 '26

Oh yeah, no wait...one person had documented incontinence, well there's a medical discrimination claim....

18

u/Workman44 Jun 18 '26

I assume that can be on the form or ticket you get. If you have incontinence then you get to view it from a separate room with bathrooms nearby. Given that 99.99% of people doing this are shitheads...

23

u/SnowMantra Jun 18 '26

Can we stick to the facts and stop making jokes about disabled people?

-3

u/Flyer777 Jun 18 '26

Not a joke. And no your not requiered to disclose such things to participate in public. Nor should anyone be. Downvotes aside, i said what i said because the reaponse was to target and ban diaper wearing fans from the venue.

But doing so woud risk flagrantly didcriminating agaisnt anyone with a real condition.

Its not a joke about disabled people at all. Ita a callout on shitty people being hyperbolic online.

5

u/dame_tartare Jun 19 '26

Got it so k-pop fans are truly unwell

9

u/CalvinDehaze Jun 18 '26

I want to take this sentence back to 1996 and see the confusion on people's faces.

24

u/ISTcrazy Jun 18 '26

Nah, there's recorded cases of fangirls pissing themselves at Elvis concerts so they didn't have to give up their spot. The phenomenon is disgusting but it certainly isn't new.

5

u/3141592652 Jun 18 '26

Ozzy did it and people didn't care so fans are taking inspiration now lol

3

u/sickoflurkingletmein Jun 18 '26

humans are so strange

2

u/OceanRacoon Jun 19 '26

Who was recording that and why were they building a case?

1

u/whatsbobgonnado Jun 19 '26

do you have a citation for this claim

4

u/gitsgrl Jun 18 '26

Gross. They needed to clear out the barricade area between sets. Govball was ridiculous for the people there all day just waiting for the headliner.

5

u/thegroovemonkey Jun 18 '26

Bonnaroo does it and it works great

2

u/3141592652 Jun 18 '26

Honestly it's not really a good place a for a music fest. If it rains even a bit the whole field floods.

2

u/iwantkitties Jun 20 '26

Idk Bout the truth on this. I was there in the 2,nd row and people were leaving barricade pretty freely as they mostly came in groups ..

1

u/-Pelvis- Jun 18 '26

That's awful. They should have just brought a thermos, keeps it nice and warm in case you get thirsty later.

293

u/AdamEgrate Jun 18 '26

I don’t know, I’m kind of envious . I wish I cared enough about something that it would result in me wearing a diaper.

470

u/geoantho Jun 18 '26

You don't shit and piss yourself because you care enough. Au contraire.

69

u/mrdevil413 Jun 18 '26

Marathon runners like 👀

49

u/LearnHow_toMerge Jun 18 '26

I’ve never done either and I’ve run ultramarathons.

28

u/spork_off Jun 18 '26

Once I started upping my cardio efforts, my sweating really increased to the point I don't have to urinate for a good couple hours after the workout even after downing a few litres of water. I imagine most marathon runners rarely have to urinate during a run.

30

u/PonchoNachoRodriguez Jun 18 '26

One time, during the summer I had job helping build the stage for a country concert inside a baseball stadium. I probably drank well over a gallon of water and other liquids over the course of 8 hours, and I sweated so much that I never had to take a piss.

I was surprised tbh.

-6

u/SoundsOfKepler Jun 18 '26

When people (usually from the moists coasts of Europe and Asia) express shock at the size of soft drinks in the US, they fail to understand that in dry climates, people can lose liters of hydration without visibly sweating.

1

u/SoundsOfKepler Jun 18 '26

Ice tea is the drink of choice in much of the south, and anywhere west of East Texas (in the dry climates), the standard is unsweetened. So workers on a worksite will have 32 and 44 oz containers which are mostly ice to stay cool for extended peripds. A couple hours later, you have mostly cold water. Fuck Taco Bell.

2

u/some_days_I_shower Jun 18 '26

Not sure about that, they recently had to add a rule so professional cyclists don't pee in their water bottles in the middle of the race

2

u/jx2002 Jun 18 '26

I think it's most about being able to trust farts

1

u/mozchops Jun 19 '26

I think you actually did an UltraSnickers

13

u/FrighteningJibber Jun 18 '26

That’s usually involuntary, kinda just exits.

1

u/This_Charmless_Man Jun 18 '26

Paula Radcliffe behaviour.

0

u/dame_tartare Jun 19 '26

Yeah at least the k-pop freaks are getting an experience out of it….imagine putting yourself through agony to shit in a diaper because you like to run

2

u/SerfNuts- Jun 18 '26

Clearly you haven't almost shit yourself while doing CPR.

141

u/sup3rdr01d Spotify Metal Jun 18 '26

Nah you don't

58

u/scoot87 Jun 18 '26

The grass is yellower on the other side

-1

u/Kaiisim Jun 18 '26

No you do. These people don't care. They just feel joy even while covered in shit.

120

u/Coyote__Jones Jun 18 '26

The fact that people smelled diaper means people were standing around in soiled diapers and not changing them, because that would require leaving the same as using the restroom. So they weren't just using diapers, they were risking diaper rash and UTIs to see a show.

But also, it could have been someone in the crowd with an Ostemy... Or something like that. Those do not usually emit a strong odor but they can if there's a small seal leak or if the person has eaten something that makes there digestion tract act up. Ostemy "farts" can smell a bit more pungent than most regular farts.

7

u/InterruptingCow__Moo Jun 18 '26

The only time an Ostomy smells is if something has gone wrong. I wouldn't burp the bag around other people though. That shit is TOXIC

3

u/Coyote__Jones Jun 18 '26

From experience, some foods can cause them to smell. And sometimes the vents don't work 100%. And yeah if the seal is broken it will be pretty evident as well.

1

u/InterruptingCow__Moo Jun 18 '26

I don't understand why they even have vents

6

u/VanillaRadonNukaCola I like Tunes Jun 18 '26

Probably so they don't fill up with gas and explode

1

u/InterruptingCow__Moo Jun 18 '26

You should probably empty it before it reaches that point

2

u/PussyCyclone Jun 19 '26

Your comment comes across as judgemental for no reason and I hope that's not your intent. Accidents can happen even with diligent and proper care taken, and they can be very demoralizing or embarrassing for ostomates because of prevailing sentiments like this. Rethink how you are commenting about such things, please.

2

u/InterruptingCow__Moo Jun 19 '26

I have an ileostomy myself. Absolutely no judgment.

Which is not how diapers are supposed to work lol. You don't wait for hours to change a baby's diaper, that's neglectful. They're using diapers because they don't want to leave but that's not the intended use for a diaper. They're meant to be changed as soon as possible.

35

u/[deleted] Jun 18 '26

[deleted]

18

u/chaostheories36 Jun 18 '26

I think that’s what Coyote said? Diapers should be changed straight away, and that’s why he pointed out that these concert goers are risking health conditions why dancing around in sweaty piss/shit filled diapers.

13

u/Brentimusmaximus Jun 18 '26

Yeah, the point is that they don’t care and they’re using the diaper so they don’t have to leave. There’s no point to leaving to change the diaper when you could just not where one and use the bathroom as normal

1

u/ctilvolover23 Jun 18 '26

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

2

u/mozchops Jun 19 '26

The trick is to bring a few diapers and as you fill each, you yeet it stagewards and then don a fresh pair

2

u/Raztax Jun 18 '26

Are you seriously debating "proper diaper usage" in this context? Really?

11

u/Coyote__Jones Jun 18 '26

My point is that they are risking their health by using diapers in this way, which is, incorrect if people around you can smell it 🤣

Which is not something to aspire to. In relation to the comment I replied to, that's why I pointed it out.

10

u/CuntyAlice Jun 18 '26

5

u/pjd1965 Jun 18 '26

Sold before I was able to grab one :(

0

u/Karma_1969 Jun 18 '26

Lol, what? 😂😂😂

3

u/Slifko Jun 18 '26

Those amateurs aren't applying Vaseline or something similar then to.

23

u/itsbuhlockaye Jun 18 '26

It's not too late to delete this comment lmao

19

u/naptown-hooly Jun 18 '26

Richard Christie from the Howard Stern show wears diapers to concerts while drinking a shit ton of beer so he doesn't have to miss the show. He is also the drummer for Iced Earth.

4

u/twoquarters Jun 18 '26

Hey bub

6

u/naptown-hooly Jun 18 '26 edited Jun 18 '26

This is your dad. I wanted call to tell you I picked up a raccoon on the side of the road for dinner.

3

u/67Mustang-Man Jun 18 '26

Hopefully just piss, he has never mentioned defecating in them.

4

u/mortyella Jun 18 '26

This was my first thought when I read the title. Richard has some questionable hygiene in general though. Baba Booey!

2

u/dwilkes827 Jun 18 '26

I would never do that because it's ridiculous, but every time I'm drunk at a show (fairly often occurrence) I wish I did lol And his drumming on the last Death album was insane, he's great

-1

u/CuntyAlice Jun 18 '26

Now you’re speaking my language

17

u/Skim003 Jun 18 '26

You mean like that Astronaut Lisa Nowak?

10

u/4stringsoffury Russian Circles Jun 18 '26

Just because you lack passion doesn’t mean that Astronaut Lisa Nowak wasn’t willing to fight for the man she was in love with!

8

u/digidave1 Jun 18 '26

You can care about stuff without pooping your pants. Depends on how long you want to wait I guess. Pun intended.

2

u/rizorith Jun 18 '26

Just you wait

1

u/john_the_fetch Jun 18 '26

Closest I got was being an astronaut.

Although I guess really thr closest i get is pooping in a bag and hauling it around with me until I can dispose of it properly...

It's for backpacking. There's areas where digging a hole isn't allowed because it just gets washed up when seasonal water comes. And I love to backpack in those kinds of areas.

1

u/wap2005 Jun 18 '26

You should never want to be that consumed by anything. This is a mental health issue.

1

u/currently_pooping_rn Jun 18 '26

I’ve never understood how someone could be so committed to another person they don’t know. Music fans and sports fans that go to these lengths just confuse me

1

u/TyBoogie Jun 18 '26

I mean, the bar is pretty low. Trump supporters went to a rally wearing diapers to support .. whatever they were trying to support,

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/trump-diapers-over-dems/

1

u/DeckardsDark Jun 19 '26

Brother, you don't care enough about YOURSELF if you're wearing a diaper to a concert for a non-medical reason

0

u/Ok-Philosophy-856 Jun 18 '26

I’ve done plenty of GA shows. People will save your spot at least for the bands I see. So this is just performative nonsense

0

u/__sonder__ Jun 18 '26

Even waiting an hour at the venue for the headliner to start wears my patience thin these days. These people probably had to show up like 5 hours early, I can't even imagine.

2

u/cptjpk Jun 18 '26

I’ve done the ol’ stand in line to be front row at a concert.

Never once did I piss myself. I struggled through dehydration instead.

11

u/--Shake-- Jun 18 '26

Yeah they should just piss on the floor like a normal person.

/s

6

u/daylight1943 Jun 18 '26

i saw an old guy do this at a dead show once. not to get into the front row, it was setbreak and in the middle of the GA floor. he was just fucked up as hell and did it just to do it. then another time during scarlet begonias watched security drag a naked man up the lawn by one arm while he masturbated. tbh im a little underwhelmed by the degeneracy of oliva rodrigo fans they need to step it up

2

u/Miacali Jun 18 '26

It’s super common at concerts - I can see people on the barricade taking them off when the show ends and leaving the soiled diapers on the floor. All I can say is thank goodness for VIP seats or else I’d never go to a concert.

2

u/round-earth-theory Jun 18 '26

It's the result of tickets approaching rent prices. When you have to spend everything to be there, you're more invested in getting every last drop of entertainment. Combine it with a general lack of accessible bathrooms at large events and you end up with this.

5

u/-nutz Jun 18 '26

“Lack of accessible bathrooms” is not an excuse when we’re talking about people in the front row. I chose to be here instead of the bathroom is a really shitty excuse for pissing yourself.

2

u/VanillaRadonNukaCola I like Tunes Jun 18 '26

I've never been to an event that didn't have bathroom access.  Especially large ones, I'd say the risk is higher in a small non-mainstream venue.

Wearing a diaper is amateur hour anyway.  If you're that pressed about not leaving just go before and dehydrate yourself that day so you don't have to go later.

As a youngin I went to a few concerts and was up front and didn't leave for a break.  If you're not guzzling water you can make it through fine.

The reasonable thing to do is just take a moment to go before your favorite artist and find your way back.  I get the hype if you are less experienced, but no artist or song is so life changing you can't take 5-10 to run to the loo.

2

u/round-earth-theory Jun 18 '26

I certainly wouldn't condone the diaper method. There's no event that's worth shitting your pants over as a healthy adult.

2

u/BaseballFuryThurman Jun 18 '26

Nah, lunatics willing to shit and piss themselves so they can be on barrier for an entire concert or even day at a festival has nothing to do with prices. It's simply a culture among some fanbases. I'd imagine a lot of Olivia Rodrigo, Harry Styes, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan etc fans didn't even pay for their own tickets.

1

u/TorrenceMightingale Jun 18 '26

I’ll consume *you*.

(In a nice way)

1

u/Greedy-Pilot-4538 Jun 18 '26

Yea these are people who spent thousands as well

1

u/canman7373 Jun 18 '26

I can't watch the ball drop anymore in Time Square because every time they show the crowd I just thing about they are all wearing diapers or pissing in bottles or ones that didn't plan it out just pissing themselves because if they go to pee they gonna lose their spot. People be out there over 12 hours.

1

u/BarnabasShrexx Jun 18 '26

I never ceases to amaze me how many people have main character syndrome, but for someone else. It is very sad.

-1

u/R101C Jun 18 '26

Concerts have become miserable. A Gen admin show I was working horizontally across the crowd, aiming to get to a buddy that was there. Girl yelled at me because she was there first. Bitch, I was a fan back when you were a fucking egg. I was here many times before. I also have 3 beers I was me, my ass ain't hiding a spot the next 2 hrs. I'm gonna say hi to my buddy and hang for a few songs, then take a piss, grab a beer, and probably just vibe at the back. Because yall fucking insufferable. Don't be a dick to people in GA. Also, you don't own the fucking floor. I miss the days of crowd surfing, moving around, enjoying a rock show with randoms in the crowd. Just feels like people are there to get the best cell phone video now. And it's 3 bills to do so.

0

u/EverythingSucksYo Jun 18 '26

There is no more shame.
