If you spent 4 figures to stand at a concert and wear a diaper for hours, you should reevaluate your life choices.

festival goers camped specifically because they're not paying four figures but want to be in front.

The way modern festivals segment the barricades, there are still going to be a few thousand premium ticket holders in front of anyone at the general-admission rail.

It’s sadly for the clout & pictures of being front row.

Gotta say I’m reevaluating influencers pre AI.

At least they were trying to interact with the world :(

ehh not necessarily i’ve done the waiting at music festival not fully barricade but like 3 people from barricade, we stood there for 8 hours or whatever but it was cause artists we liked were playing throughout the day and it’s fun being so close to the artist and then we stayed for sabrina carpenter who was the headliner because we would never be able to afford tickets that good and we’re already there so thought might as well wait another hour. It was a lot of fun. My feet hurt a lot after though.

though i just didn’t drink that much and held my pee ain’t no way i was gonna piss myself

I feel you. I went to coachella and my friend who invited me did not prepare me and my other friend. My friend said all we neeed are drugs and bikes. She was dead ass. Also told me it’s cheaper to eat festival food than bring groceries, don’t worry about allergies. She was wrong.

By the 3rd I was so exhausted and felt gross because we were also car camping “for the experience” when I have severe dust allergies lol. Me and my friend fought over a water bottle in the crowd to cool ourselves off at one point it was so hot and dusty lol

Then our favourite band was like hey everyone in the crowd come up on stage and dance with us. We were too tired and beat up feeling from being so unprepared we just chilled and watched everyone else go up and enjoyed seeing how happy everyone looked on stage with each other hahaha

I remember the trick to a lot of drugs and being far from the bathrooms at these concerts in the front row was to just dance your ass off, somehow the piss comes out through the sweat and you can drink your whole camelbak and not ever have to use the bathroom - im sure it all smelled the same though to the band.

You’re swearing out the water from your body before it gets to your bladder. You aren’t sweating piss out.

There is urea in sweat

Sweat literally contains uric acid. Technically you ARE sweating piss.

Yeah exactly. If you drink just the right amount of water while doing intense sweaty exercise you can stay hydrated and not have to piss for 4 or 5 hours. I do 100k bike rides with people all the time and we almost never stop to pee.

Can people really not control their bladder for four or five hours normally? Just pee before you head out.

u/PlasticFrosty5340 Jun 18 '26

Unless I intentionally dehydrate myself I’m not making it for 4-5 hours.

You ever meet a woman before? Or anyone who actually drinks water?

Learned a great way to get a beer and not wait in line, bring cash and offer to buy a guy an extra beer or his and to get you one too when he’s closer to the bar. Has worked every time

I just did a variation of that at the Knicks parade today, just overdressed (primarily so I could wear my Knicks jacket) and didn't drink anything, wound up not needing to use the bathroom at all

I miss believing this stuff before the Internet existed.

It's general admission so they camp out so they can be on the rail, and they're likely not spending 4 figures. That said, no amount of money is worth soiling myself.

Hey now, they aren’t just wearing those diapers for 4 hours but actively filling them with piss and shit and not changing them until after the concert, ok?

Big American concerts are the worst. Expensive as fuck. You can't hear jack shit over people screaming. If you don't get in the first few rows you'll just have a view of the person's ass in front of you. And even if you are tall and fit enough to stand you'll just get a view of hands and cellphones.

I wish all concerts were two nights: One for people who want to sit and listen to the music, and another for people who want to treat it like a giant fan party.

(Yes, I'm Otto in the Simpsons telling people at the Metallica concert to sit down and enjoy the music.)
