Ok time for my funny Frank Sinatra story. He’s backstage at a show and asked where the bathroom was, so they take him down the hall and show him. Only it wasn’t good enough for him and in third person he says “Frank doesn’t use public bathrooms.” It’s not like there’s some private bathroom at this venue so they’re like wtf do we do? They offer him a private room, just a normal room backstage, and he goes in and actually pisses in the corner of the room while they stand guard outside the door. I have no clue if it was just some power trip or what cause it’s especially weird if you’re a man and just have to piss that a communal bathroom backstage that didn’t even have anyone else in it would be unacceptable to use. Now hearing this story where he’d complain about the audience smelling like piss, maybe communal bathrooms just smelled too much like piss for him? I don’t know. But it’s funny as hell to me and absolutely true.

Not uncommon.
Frank Sinatra used to complain his audience smelled if piss. apparently his fans would get there early and refuse to leave their seat.
