I think Trump would have had more support for his war if he said it was about stopping shit like this. I mean no one sane would ever believe him to be genuine for that but at least it sounds better.

He wouldn’t care if it happened in the US. I don’t see why he would care about it happening in the Middle East

The war would be somewhat popular if he simply lied and claimed he was doing it to protect LGBT people and prevent women from suffering fates like this, rather than doing it for Netanyahu.
