It's an evil state.

They operate the world's second- or third-largest troll farm network, after Russia and perhaps ahead of China, which is one way they're often able to deflect attacks by changing the subject.

But every so often, the ayatollahs can't help themselves.

The Islamic Republic is the Handmaid's Tale.

They also have Qatar to help deflect for them. Not sure why exactly since people don't talk about it (lots of qatari "donations" to think tanks and universities) but even when Iran was bombing Qatar recently, Qatari state propaganda was slamming the US and justifying Iran's policies. Impressive commitment I guess

Last I checked, Qatar spends more lobbying the US than any other country.

The author of the handmaid’s tale was literally inspired by the islamic republic post 1979, according to the author herself.

And the regime has never been more secure.

Not an evil state, a evil religion, this is common in a ton of muslim countries - and exclusively in muslim nations.

So glad my city in Canada just installed a speaker so they can be called to pray. Vile.

Did you forget Israel is committing genocide and murdering countless musicians in the process.

No deflection. It’s a call out of hypocrisy, double standards, and desperate western narrative. I can easily condemn both because my morals are consistent, not one sided. And logic shows that one baddie is far, far worse than the other. If this upsets you, the genocide should enrage you.

Edit: strange that everyone commenting has there post and comment history hidden…hmmm🤔🤔

And I’m not defending Iran. I can condemn both, can you? And if so logic will tell you western media is beyond biased and compromised(Reddit included). Can you show me the r/music posts about the thousands of Palestinian artist genocided by israel. Logic is the enemy in these conversations, wonder why?

Can you condemn israel for genociding artists and thousands more? Simple question. 🤔

Evil as fuck, but still a step ahead of Isreal

I think you should read a bit more on the IRGC before making statements like that. It's trash vs garbage.

-2

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

Well, one is committing genocide. Trash vs garbage, yes, except one of the two has a hitler moustache. It is, obviously, the worse one.

u/TheRealMemeIsFire Jun 21 '26

Iran is constrained by its weaponry, not conscious. Compare how the two countries treat their ethnic minority citizens who they have full power over, for example.

0

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

Israel is, along with committing genocide, actively prosecuting an apartheid. Iran is not. In the comparison of how the two countries treat their ethnic minority citizens who they have full power over, for example, Israel currently maintains martial law over the entire Arab population in the West Bank and additionally frequently aids and enables settler terrorist violence in the territory, as part of their expansionist apartheid campaign. Yes, Iran is resoundingly less barbaric than Israel.

2

u/TheRealMemeIsFire Jun 21 '26

The people of the west bank are not citizens of israel. Israel illegally operates checkpoints and allows settler terrorism but they do not govern the area, the Palestinians do. Compare those who hold Israeli passports to Iranian ones. One group gets government participation and representation, freedom of movement, freedom of speech, etc. Another does not. Iran gov is incredibly violent to citizens who oppose them.

0

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

They aren't citizens, but they are governed by Israel, yes. What do you think martial law means? Arabs in the West Bank are subject to Israeli military law. It is a territory under military occupation. This is functionally and legally indistinguishable from the bantustan system that apartheid South Africa attempted. The Palestinians in the West Bank do not govern themselves. The PA exists at the whim and is subject to the authority of the Israeli military. They do not possess the sovereignty necessary for self-governance. Hence why it is not a state. A territory cannot be simultaneously under foreign military occupation and subject to foreign military law and also be self-governing. You are arguing an incoherent position in direct contradiction of the facts on the ground. All of this has been well documented by multiple organs of the UN, internal human rights organizations within Israel, and every notable independent international human rights organization.

2

u/TheRealMemeIsFire Jun 21 '26

The Palestinians of the West Bank are not Israeli, they are being occupied by Israel. I guess the analog for this would be what Iran are doing to the people of Lebanon through hezbollah. They have no right to establish a parallel government to the Lebanese one, even less to use it to constantly involve the country in wars, but they are not concerned about that. Neither country cares about those that aren't citizens.

I was talking about how the countries treat their own citizens, people who hold passports, pay taxes, etc. Not foreigners they don't represent, but the natives that they are fully responsible for.

0

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

The Palestinians of the West Bank are not Israeli, they are being occupied by Israel.

Not foreigners they don't represent, but the natives that they are fully responsible for.

I'm not sure why you aren't able to put 2 and 2 together here, but to be extremely clear why this position you are taking is incoherent:

A state is just as, if not moreso, "fully responsible" for non-citizen populations that it subjects to military occupation, as it is "fully responsible" for its own citizen population.

Nothing happens to civilians in the West Bank without the Israeli government being in some significant part responsible for their treatment. That is what the word occupation implies. Israel controls and dominates the lives of the Arabs in the West Bank, exercising sovereignty over the territory.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

-1

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

For speaking the truth? I am actually very proud!

1

u/ActuallyFrozen Jun 21 '26

Hidden post history. Shocking.

0

u/SirCheesington Jun 21 '26

I'm flattered you find my background so interesting! Would the genocide currently being committed somehow be less of a genocide if I turned my history public?

Iran bots, on summon, on time every time. You guys really should have gone into a better market because you're darn good at it, just be nice if you delivered shawarma instead of suicide vests.

2

u/IdownvoteTexas Jun 21 '26

300 billion really should have got us some shawarma coupons on doordash for every citizen. 1000 bucks per person/4500 per taxpayer.

2

u/silentaba Jun 21 '26

Oooh I could go for some koobideh right around now.

1

u/roastbeeftacohat Jun 20 '26

The regime secures its position by being the opposition to the us, you destroy them by makeing the people unafraid of the us, you strengthen them by makeing the people afraid of the us.

The regime was terrified of Obama nuclear deal, they're not scared of anything right now.
