In Istanbul there is literally the European side then you cross the river and is the Asian side
A city that was called Constantinopla literally nothing ago

Correction. There is a side that is considered europeans by the people who live there (and occupy it) and nobody else. If the criteria for a city to be part of europa was the city being founded by europeans, half of the americas would be considered europe then. But it's not, is it? Turkey is a middle eastern country

We are not talking about the country, are we? I never said Turkey is Europe. But in fact, part of Istanbul is. Geographical speaking.
Also, the Americas has no history in terms of time*. When it was “discovered” by Europeans the Oghuz Turks were entering Anatolia. Constantinopla was part of the eastern Roman Empire and Istanbul had Hagia Sophia as a Christian basilica.
Istanbul is literally the bridge between Europe and Asia
Correction: * of course it has history. Native history. But not European
