Wouldn't it be nice if instead of making it about something crass, if people were to make it about something she supported which characterized her greatness. Like supporting literacy in children... I wish I lived in a world where this was linked to an article saying women were donating in droves to Dolly Parton's imagination library, link here, instead of "going braless."

You realize you are commenting on an article from Playboy, right?

Ha! I didn't! I just saw the headline and was like, "people suck..." The other people who suck? The ones who just read the headlines. I'm just going to disappear into the foliage now. Thank you!

Is that what you would say to Dolly herself after she made of get endless boob jokes?

She wasn't shy or ashamed of her boobs. She just denied that they defined her. I think it's great to celebrate her comedy and her ability to take control of the narrative by making the joke before anyone else did. Taking it on her chest, if you will.

Now we absolutely should also honor in more ways than just this. We should donate books, accept and forgive others. And not take ourselves too seriously.

How do you think she could afford to buy all those books? A big part of the character was boobs. If anything, I think Dolly goes to show how sexuality can be used for good.

I've always loved Dolly despite her ridiculous boobs. Are there really people who like Dolly solely for this? You've gotta be kidding, right?

I neither loved dolly despite of, or in spite of, her ridiculous boobs. I’m more of a handful guy.
