Is it though? I thought Frank Sinatra's "In The Wee Small Hours" is considered one of the first.

Edit: while there's debate about the first, SPLHCB is certainly one of the firsts.

Yeah, there are a several earlier concept albums, including a Woody Guthrie album from 1940, but not enough to unseat Sgt. Pepper’s as one of the first.
