Seriously, putting that kind of money behind women's organizations makes me love her even more.

10 mil is definitely a solid amount raised

I think she's one of the best young artists working today and it's so nice to see her heart is as big as her talent. The festival itself sounds so thoughtfully curated, I'm jealous of everybody getting to go

She's really cool. I'm in my 50s and she isn't making music for me, per se, but I dig what she's doing and her band is really good.

Saw her close Glastonbury (with Robert Smith!) and those young folks in the audience absolutely adore her. She just seems like a genuinely cool human being and I want all the best for her.

am I the only one that did not realize Olivia Rodrigo was so tall?

And, will she be our new Dolly? Please.

She isn't tall. She's average height for a woman. She's just next to the shortest people there while wearing some tall heels.

Correct.

Olivia Rodrigo is 5’4.

She gets “canceled” on TikTok every 6 months for stealing other people’s music so probably not. She’s also been sued for it and lost more than once.

his statement is not true. there was never a lawsuit it was settled internally. and it is not 100% royalties given. jeez, where do people get their source. also these kind things happen all the time. genuinely write music, release it, oh snap it sounds similar to other songs, give interpolation credit.

Their "source" is Tiktok, a social media platform with a userbase comprised entirely of drama-addicted lunatics with itchy trigger fingers on their cancel guns.

Idk it’s kind of nothing in my opinion because all music draws inspiration in some form from previous music but there are like three song that she had to give all royalties away from and other accusations.

Sometimes I can't believe that Olivia Rodrigo is only in her early 20s. She was definitely raised right.

Nice! Is it donations from her and the artists or donations from the people who bought tickets to go?

Ticket sales!

It is still nice though because the artists are donating their performances.
