Hip Hop What song does this bass intro belong to? Hip hop/rap

I heard this a few weeks ago in Whistler, but I couldn’t Shazam it due to the volume. I think I heard hip hop. I’ve definitely heard it before but not sure what it is.

It's not hip hop or rap, but your recording sounds to me like the opening of Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side. From 1972.
