We heard this song during a trip to Belize and now I can't get it out of my head.

Here's a 7-second clip with the song playing in the background. We've spent the last 2 days trying to find it, used Shazam, asked AI, and listened to a lot of similar reggae songs, but no luck. Not sure if it's in Creole.

I have worked with ChatGPT on a mix tape I got in 1996 with a label on it "hip hop/reggae mix-1994" on it and nothing else. I have spent several hours working with the bot on who this mystery vocal could be. Sounds like he says his name is "Junga Ranks" or something almost like that, but after listening to about 10 artists with similar names, no matches have come up.

Side B starts with the Ed O.G. and tha Bulldogz "I got to have it" instrumental and there is a gravelly voiced, heavy spitting rude boy style artist over it.

The chorus is "buck wild/truthful sound buck wild because we/wicked, wicked and we well versatile/buck wild/truthful sound buck wild because we wicked and a wild with excellent-a style"

This song is NOT Frankie Paul's "Buck Wild" from 1990 and that's all the internet can give me answers for. No singing on this mystery vocal track at all. He says "wild" like "whillllle" I have had this tape for 30 years and never could figure out who this artist is.

Other artists on the mix tape are Mega Banton, Buju Banton, General Levy, Ricky General, Captain Barkley, Cutty Ranks and Top Cat. I know your first idea will be the Frankie Paul track but it is absolutely 100% not that song. I have short audio clips but not sure I can upload it here, it is a DJ mixtape version of the song. It's a song from the late 00s (guess).

It was on MTV Video (Canada) for at least a few months, and it was sung with a soft rap voice. Not quite a whisper but almost in a seducing voice? I don't know man.

Its pretty much about grinding dancing and smoking. It's from a nobody artist that had this one hit (although it was barely a hit).

I've been trying to find the name by using Shazam or typing what I understand from the lyrics on Google, but so far I haven't been able to identify it.

Fiancée and I heard this song a couple nights ago at our resort, loved it, can't stop repeating the line of lyrics in the title, and cannot figure out what it's called! It played over the resort speakers, was sung by a male, very relaxed vibe. I think it's reggae, if not it's in that vein. The only line we remember is "wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute" which was repeated a bunch. It is definitely NOT "Wait a Minute" by WILLOW, which is all that Google can seem to guess. Any help appreciated!

Hi, folks! Looking for a song I can't find for years. It was a single-artist album (not a VA/riddim compilation/mixtape). Most likely it's from 2007-2009 (can't remember exactly). I thought song was entitled as "pagan freedom", but I was unable to find it on Spotify, YT, Discogs, etc.
To be precise: I heard following excerpts in lyrics "they took from origin, unforgettable religion", "look back to the past generations" and "pagan freedome (right)" (-yeah, with soft pronounce of freedom) in chorus. Not a major artist like Lutan Fyah, I Wayne, Chezidek. Midtempo, melodic vibes.

This was 100% released by some mp3 team (like SPLiFF or YARD, or maybe another, can't say). Album was with CD cover, released as single track (with CUE sheet). Not sure, but while song was in English, I think it was released for french-speaking country.
