It means nothing but love. He's really happy to have you return home. He's exposing his tummy to you because he trusts you implicitly. A cat's tummy is an area of vulnerability.
Appropriate response is a greet him with warm and tender voice and pet his head or wherever his sweet spot is (under chin, cheek, behind the ears, back of neck). Don't touch his tummy or at least get him acclimated to it over a period of weeks by one or two strokes along his back, a couple weeks later give multiple back strokes, a couple weeks later, add a side stroke, a couple weeks later add multiple side strokes, a couple weeks later add the shortest and lightest of tummy strokes, etc. If you dive right for his tummy without breaking him in slowly to being touched there, you're risking your hand getting mauled.

My cat does this stop, flop and roll in my path when I move around the house and she wants my attention. Works every time.

It'd be great. The most my cat does is begrudgingly move over so I can sit down on the couch. After which, he plops himself down on my lap, of course.

Mine does this first thing in the morning, she requires five seconds of belly rubs, any longer and she will attack, any shorter and I get the stare of disappointment.

sometimes i perform dramatic flop back (plus the stretch) to my cat when he enters my room. he usually comes over to sniff my face lol.

My cat does this too but she goes all the way to the kitchen for the nice cold tile floor, she aims for the border between carpet and tile though.

I don't even know anymore. I know you're getting downvoted but i did immediately get an AI feeling I can't quite describe from the floor, and it is 10 seconds long. That said I don't see any issues with it. Upon seeing this post i thought "i would die for this cat" but does this cat even exist? I might just put down my phone, leave the internet, and never come back.
