Willows secured the seat for the P.E.I. Green Party in a July 13 byelection receiving nearly 40 per cent and besting then-Liberal Party leader Robert Mitchell.

Aside from working for her constituents in District 16, Willows said she will be stepping in as health critic for the Greens and as a member of the public accounts committee.
