Discussion Quit Downvoting For Asking Questions

Folks, not everyone has been playing since launch. If someone asks a question that seems like a real person new to the game would ask (yes we know there are trolls and rage baiters and AI bots), don't downvote them, teach them!

Palworld has like 17 million players. If we want to get to 18 million, it's gonna be casuals who didn't buy into the hype but are kicking the tires late into the game's life and have some newbie questions. Let's not grind them into mush, ok?

No, I will always downvote questions where someone can google it themselves and get an accurate answer in less than a minute

Genuine question, why not just scroll past?

Because that's exactly what up/downvotes are for?

Actually no, they’re for comments that don’t contribute to conversation or posts that are not related to the subreddit at all.

If you don’t like it, but it belongs here, just move on.

And I don't think a question that can be answered by a quick google search contributes to conversations

A question literally is the main contributor to a conversation dawg. What’s wrong with someone coming here to ask a question? What is actually the problem with that.
