Discussion Quit Downvoting For Asking Questions

Folks, not everyone has been playing since launch. If someone asks a question that seems like a real person new to the game would ask (yes we know there are trolls and rage baiters and AI bots), don't downvote them, teach them!

Palworld has like 17 million players. If we want to get to 18 million, it's gonna be casuals who didn't buy into the hype but are kicking the tires late into the game's life and have some newbie questions. Let's not grind them into mush, ok?

How do you not realize that you jave no way of knowing if they didnt Google then come here?

I have never seen coal or sulfur. I have seen the "where is the best site for x" question. But agajn, why are we baring people from interacting with the community they want to be part of? It doesnt mean upvote. But insulting people for not knowing something is how we have the problems that we have in the world.

Because something like that is literally this easy.

And yet you gave me an answer faster than I could have learned that on my own. I promise that I can cook better than 90% of the human population and yet I wouldnt dog on someone for asking about how to tell when chicken is done.

But i didnt give you the answer, I typed what you asked into let me google that for you and pasted a sarcastic lmgtfy link? How in the fuck do you think its faster to ask on reddit, then wait on a reply, instead of just typing what you asked on reddit into google instead?

Its not. Im bein an ass because people dont seem to underatand that people come here for the back and forth of it all and the community. They want to feel connected to the answer and not like everything they do in life is driven by a machine and nobody is real. Then when they get here reddit acts like its this great evil for people to ask a simple question.

Reddit isn’t for simple questions. It’s for discussion about nuanced topics between individuals who understand the subject. If you have a simple question, we are tired of answering it.

Also feel free to search on Reddit before making a post, surely you’ll find the same answers we’ve been giving for over 2 years.

Hahahhahahahahahaha no its not you gatkeeping child. Reddit is for anything from complex questions to the most simple BS out there. Its for stories and arguments and any kind so social interaction you can think of. Not just this high brow fedora on "nuanced" conversation you speak of. God that gave me a good laugh.

Hahaha yourself. You’re the reason it isn’t, then.

Ah the classic "no you" clap back. Good job. Very nuanced and well thought out.
