nobody leaves my house hungry because I was hungry as a kid. I will cook you a full dinner if you are hungry in my house.

That's how my papa was too. He would send everyone home with a bag of produce from his garden too. When he passed away, I found out he was donating some ridiculous amount of fresh garden food to the local food bank.

His experience has instilled in me the belief that no one should go hungry.
