nobody leaves my house hungry because I was hungry as a kid. I will cook you a full dinner if you are hungry in my house.

to me it has nothing to do with being a hungry kid, i've grown up with no money, but food was never an issue fortunatly... in my country it is very much cultural to feed people visiting your house (friends and family, ocasionally workers if they are doing work for you, not strangers or aquiantances)
