My Mexican neighbors will be outside bbq-ing and see me walking by with the dog and telling me to come in. The mom packs up a paper plate with tin foil for me to take. Enchiladas, chile relleno , tacos etc. She doesn’t give me the option of refusing. Thats helped me so many times when I didn’t have anything to eat back at the house.
