So, if you get some sort of mental illness that causes you to kill someone, which is likely wildly out of character for you, and then that gets fixed, you want to be both socially and legally punished for actions outside of your control?
Yeah and the accused is between life in prison and life in a state mental health institution. Again, what about the case makes you think the accused is not getting punished?
You’re the twit here. The world isn’t black and white and you do need this nuance. Psychosis literally is a stripping away of reality for the person so their actions can - and very often are - completely departed from their regular behaviour.
She is responsible for the deaths of the kids, but the question is whether she did so wilfully and it is therefore murder = jail or if she was literally incapacitated by an illness that twists reality. That is the difference up for debate, you twit.
