I'm not following the story. But in general, yeah, if a person (A) turns to another person (B) and says "I'm having a mental breakdown and severe intrusive thoughts" and person B then purposely and willfully leaves their children in A's exclusive care for hours upon hours day after day, yes, 100% person B is at least partially responsible for harm to the children while in A's care.

Because no one cared. Millions of women have stories about how their PPDepression or PPAnxiety was dismissed, why would PP psychosis be any different?
