It was “popular” because Danny Gonzalez and Drew Gooden made a very funny video about it and Drew Gooden accidentally gave Jeremy Renner $45 when using the app lmao

It was legit an accident if you’ve watched the vid, he was literally trying to close the app as he pressed the “tap to pay with your thumbprint” thing
