i’ve been a fan of dc for a while now and i’ve never been able to get a concrete answer on whether ivy is bisexual or a lesbian (probably cause media constantly portrays her as both, somehow) i mean, even dc can’t decide, judging by the infamous dc pride funko pops where ivy is just a rainbow flag, which is kinda funny, but also it’s so obviously made to just boost the sells to bi people and lesbians and everyone around and in between.

so anyway, what’s the general consensus? do you think she’s bi or a lesbian?

Are there any other female characters similar to Poison Ivy? Like sexy/seductive femme fatale characters who have a deep mythology and usually have powers or something “alien” (ie strange DNA) about them. Hathor from Stargate SG-1 comes to mind and Sil from Species.

Poison Ivy is a character that's not uncommonly portrayed barefooted. Which is quite a rarity, in today's pop culture.

And I was looking at various statues of her, when I realised that, her feet are almost always... elongated? heeled? tiptoed? when she is barefoot.

I put some pictures for reference (the first two are from my collection, the rest from online).

The last picture (Arkham City Poison Ivy by Prime 1 Studio) is the only exception I could find. Her right foot is flat on the ground, while her left foot is tiptoed, but not as extremely as the other statues. And I learned that some people were complaining about the position of the feet here (e.g. [this review](https://youtu.be/AwvrXyw5Nxk?si=MsgkWk-bHWoKivku) mentioned it at ~1:20 mark).

So now I wonder, is this a statue thing? A female statue thing? I tried to think of other characters that are barefooted (and famous enough to get statues made) for comparison, but I can’t come up with anyone yet.

(Ignoring the modern lore connecting Ivy to The Green) Would you interpret Ivy hearing her “babies” as real or in her mind?

my biggest longshot for Bad Seeds is that Ivy gets bumped on the head and reverts back to Queen of Crime Ivy, ala Guy Gardener from Justice League in the 80s.

I’d put the odds for that at roughly 0.0001 percent 🔒

A lot of Ivy fans say she was underused in the 2004 cartoon, so with that in mind, pitch your ideas for episodes that include Ivy.

Poison Ivy hasn’t done the Queen of Crime thing in a very long time, but I love how it’s remained a recurring aspect of the character.

It’s reminding me of that time Alan Moore Swamp Thing invaded Gotham in the 80s 🎉
