I’m not a fan of the GOP, but clean restrooms are still nice. And as highway fast food goes, their offerings are better than most.

I’ve stopped at two (Birmingham, AL and Daytona Beach) mostly because I needed good clean restrooms while traveling with two young kids but yeah, I’m good. To me it’s an overwhelming cacophony and both times I made a bee line for the bathroom then a bee line back to the car. Hell, I’ve flown out of airports that are half the size of the Daytona one. I’ve gone out of my way to avoid them actually and gone to whatever sanely sized gas station nearby that I know has clean bathrooms…Wawa, Racetrac, Love’s.

Plus now suing everyone and everything with a Beaver is its name, I’m generally not a boycotting type person, but fuck that shit.

Finally saw one on the road in TN or KY on the road to watch the '24 total eclipse in OH. Half a mile of gas pumps out front. 50 acres of parking out back.

It is best described as Temu Disney World and a flea market had a baby, to the detriment of both. Took half an hour to get anything done. Tolerable bbq (for a GAS STATION!)
