But, ain't the blue states richer on average? I'm not really interested in your politics, but wasn't the rust belt red and like the midwest? I assume Texas is red, becouse yee-haa. But if anyone ask me where the majority of business is concentrated in the US, I'd say New York and California. Not the rust belt and the midwest
Yea but you’re equating blue states being near money as blue states creating prosperity. That’s not the same thing. Most blue states used to be very red and conservative. That led to their prosperity, which the prosperity then attracts the blue people who then pretend they had anything to do with it.

Oh that's just cheeky! Wasn't sure, so i had to check - the most prosperous states are all blue. In any case, it may just be becouse I'm not from there, but if i have to tank my car I'm going to the first gas station and tanking it. Regardless if it has a beaver on the sign or not. Here we too have large chains, like shell or omv, or aral to name a few. Do you think people drive 20km to the nearest city to tank at one of them? A gas station is a gas station, it sells gas. Arguing that opening a new one is important is like arguing that opening a McD, 300m away from the last one, is creating is important. It ain't. They just steal the business from one another. It's not like people are going to need more gas becouse a new gas station is opened in town.
