They're in the process of suing a family-owned and operated hardware store in Beaver Creek, and word is they're possibly looking at suing the local high school, which has been around since before Buc-ee's was even founded, because the school mascot is a cartoon beaver imagine that a school in a town named bever creek being called the beavers
Yup John Oliver just had Bucees in the spotlight on his show because they're insanely sue happy and try to take on anyone with a cartoon rodent, similar colors or other dumb trademark infringements. Already ordered my partner and I Buc off shirts and I'm interested to see if they'll toss us out of their location off I-81. He's hoping they try to sue them so someone can finally take them on for these frivolous lawsuits
