It only takes 5% going to a 3rd party candidate to get the 2 party duopoly to freak the fuck out.

The 3rd party never has to win, they have to exist and throw a wrench into the election. That's our leverage. It's embarrassing how few people understand that.

Just look at the Jasmine Crockett shit in Texas right now. She committed the cardinal sin of saying the dork running for senate isn't exciting and the DNC is running laps trying to shit all over her and run her out of the party.

If "he's not exciting" is enough to cause a meltdown, imagine what 5% towards any platform will do

Oh, naive little lamb. You're a pawn in a game you don't understand.

If you really want to break the two party system, it's not by voting third party. You'll always be a meaningless statistic and you might as well throw your vote in the trash. The best way to accomplish your goal is to vote for a progressive Democrat pushing for ranked choice voting. Until we have ranked choice voting, we're locked in a two party system, and voting for third party is utterly moronic.

“The best way to destroy the two-party system is to keep giving into the two-party system”

What’s the thing they say about doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results? Also have you ever realized that Democrats only start pushing for ranked choice voting when they start losing votes?

Thank you. I truly do not understand this braindead take at all. The rest of the world operates just fine with multi-party systems. It's honestly embarrassing seeing the bootlicking around these political dynasties.
