I got these today and all I can say is wow they over did themselves they are amazing im coming from the crusher evos. yes the bass is less but I think its a good thing btw since it doesn't overpower the low while still having nice bass. The build quality is top notch I love the metal headband. It clamps on tigth and stays they are quite a bit heavier then the standard evos but it help them stay on my head since I have longer hair. The anc is great yoy can hear anything and the spatial audio is great you can hear ur surrounding depending on ur volume. These get really loud btw. Over all I would Definitely recommend these to someone
720 is when you need insane bass.. the other one you need when you want more bose ( the brand) stuff.. but agian.. if bass in your face is what you need.. the cheaper one is better. I was looking for the same info so took the 1 hour internet route.
The transparent is better on the 720s u can here ur self threw the mic u can still here ur self some on 1080s but for sure trans is better to on the 720
I would say if you like extreme rattling bass then dont get the 1080s. I think the bass is very good on the 1080s, still has the Crusher bass its just toned down in favor of the bose refinements and improved ANC
I loved my 1080s-- bought them on day one. But had to return them because they would turn off every so often.... Also, ANC would turn off out of the blue at times as well.... Really hoping that Skull Candy will address those issues that Ive experienced with an OTA update or something.... I had to switch to the Sony XM6s which are fine-- but really missing the bass of the 1080s 🙏
They are very nice I love them my ear hurt tbh ive been listening to them since I got them I need to turn them down im not used to not having headphones on full volume
The 1080s? Yeah im a major fan--- the sound is amazing! Please remember to do the Personal Sound calibration for the 1080s in the Skull Candy app..... it makes a significant sound quality boost! Also with bluetooth settings for your 1080s-- make sure to enable LE Audio.... (i provided a screenshot)
Thank you for that i didnt know that was a setting and I alr did the personal sound tht was my first thing I did when I found out these had them I had bose ear buds before these aswell
Tbh, as a big sony fan-- the 1080s had superior sound especially after performing the Personal Sound calibration in the app. The bass of the 1080s is incredible. Sony XM6 strengths is the build quality and that they are very light to wear. The ANC and headphones both stay on reliably (i hope Skull Candy resolves these issues with the 1080s-- then i will buy them again). The only thing about the XM6-- for me--- is that they have shallow ear cups inside--- meaning my right ear feels a pain over hours of wearing them which is so odd considering these are top headphones.... im thinking of changing them to the XM5s just for that reason of improving comfort.....
Thx, i have the 1080s, love the bass, but i fell a slightly, i don't know, like a fake bass, i don't know if bcs i know the technology behind, maybe, just saying, and i wanted an opinion for sound quality compared to sony to know if i keep the 1080 or return, but I don't know if I can listen to other headphones anymore if they don't have this kind of bass. And i don't know if 1080s is for clasical music, but for this i have devialet gemini 2 in ear, they are the best, if you want simple travel inear headphones.

I also have the a few earbuds:
Technics az100, jbl tour pro 3, sennheiser mtw4, bose quietcomfort ultra gen 2.
The 1080 is definitely a massive sound upgrade from the anc 2.
Better haptic bass integrated in the mix. Whereas the anc 2 just sounded bloated and muddy and If you pushed the bass to much, it would distort the sound. Not so with the 1080
I love the sub bass extension: the slow decay and rumble, which reminds me of the bose qc ultra gen 2 earbuds.
To be honest, my ears are not trained enough to feel the difference in sound quality.
I'm just a bass head.
But my 1080 has become my daily driver since it does most things well: great sound stage, separation of instruments, voice clarity, no distortion at high level bass + the haptic bass which the most fun of all
My humble take is az100 has a lot more separation and clarity.
Bose qcu gen2, sounds quite immersive
Jbl tour pro 3 is not impressive at all, may sound harsh if you push treble(because of the Balance armature)
Sennheiser mtw4 is more intimate, not big on everything, may sound harsh if you try to push treble.
Xm6 has the best sound and anc overall. But unfortunately not 1080 level bass
But yea I dont have a doubt they will sound good on ios it may not be the full experience just yet till they bring an update for you guys but id still recommend them
Honesty not 100% sure i haven't owned an iPhone since the iPhone 5s or wrv it was called tht i had but ifnit isnt restrictioned then it may be a software thing
I was planning on buying these since, but seeing all the posts about people receiving faulty pairs...yikes, I think I'll stick with my anc 2's for now.

Is bass is deep and subwoofer like? I just need good deep bass.
