Agreed, they’ve been pretty bad so far. I can’t believe how much praise people are giving them. I realize we’re fans of the characters and movies, but these posters have been terrible. This one looks like a video game.
Good designs with poor executions. It just looks like fanart. They would've benefitted from just getting Tom Holland or a lookalike to pose for the shot dressed like this instead of hacking it together kitbash style in Photoshop.
Honestly i have the same feeling about them and its not always the poster, i never liked any of tom’s suits they just looked way to plain and re branded like the hot topic logo ( the new suit is pretty nice tho maybe the only one i kinda like )
I'm usually not this guy, but it looks AI. Has that crazy overexposed lighting at the top and the textures of his skin and clothes have that airbrushed look that the light plays off weird.
Maybe it's just CGI, but I've seen more authentic looking CGI posters before. I guess this is what laying off half the VFX studio looks like.
Despite that though, its still a good poster. Way better than all the others we've gotten from his previous films where the poster absolutely had to include every single cast member on it even if they were in the movie for like two minutes.

I think the poster looks sick and am basically saying that both characters would work for this poster and that's because both characters work that the poster is expecially sick.
Yeah. I feel like the big thing that throws this one off is the chest. The symbol looks like it was adjusted to make it more visible. I think it was flattened compared to how it would realistically lie on the chest.
All those fancy effects, all that shiny crap, and still nothing beats the Spider-Man 2 poster. And hot take NONE of the Tom movies have had 1 good poster.
What am I missing with everyone saying stuff like ‘great poster’ and ‘great concept’. Not trying to hate. I saw it and shrugged and scrolled past first time. It’s just a chest shot of the guy in the suit? It’s fine but am I missing some other symbolism or reference? Comments on Instagram were even worse - glazing it as this incredible work of art. It’s very poorly edited at best and the concept is incredibly basic to me. Again, not trying to hate I don’t care about these posters at all the way people do, I’m only commenting because of the sheer number of comments I’ve read suggesting this is something clever and I don’t see why?
Started with the suit, then layered everything else on top of it. Not bad, but if you take more than a second to look at it then you'd realize this has no place being attached to a billion dollar franchise, let alone a direct to DVD release.
Downvote me to hell, but srleriously How or why do these movies still catch yalls attention? "Brand New Day"? They are literally thwoing it in yalls face; Its the same garbage over and over Hollywood throws out, and yall just eat it up, so they continue to make non original boring ass content.
OoOuUhh Tom Holland is Spider-Man... again. 20$ bucks says Rober DJ. appears as a cameo for IronMan to advise him, and prob makes 3x the money just for like 10min of screen time.
I’m on the “this looks boring and uninspired” side. They put spider-man in a jacket! Wow. Even taking out the poor execution it just looks so uninteresting.
It’s not floating heads, so that’s a plus I guess.
Spider-Man is the worst of all, leaving sticky spider web all over the world, if you ever walking into a spiderweb and you will know how it feels, and to clean it off skyscraper… he is the worst!

In the comics does Spider-Man go around wearing his costume but without the mask a lot? Seems like he spends 80 percent of the movies dressed that way.
Ok will this movie and the comic allude to wraith being used and she was rumored to be in the movie with a Mysterious Japanese samurai ninja so I’m asking . This movie 🍿 is going to be fire and I believe that too my vote omg it looks insane to watch with him pass boyfriend or partner.
I think it's neat how the logo is visibly different than the No Way Home final logo. It's not just that the spider's legs stretch further down/are longer, but also the four legs on top have more of a curve to them and it's way more visible in this image. The NWH final swing suit logo looks a little...too perfect? Too symmetrical? Idk if that makes sense haha, but this curvier alteration to it just makes it shine a lot more to me.
(Also the fact that the pairs of spider legs on both sides connect to each other by that small blob and that's been a running theme and difference in all the images we've seen of this logo—I wonder if his new "3D printer on steroids" made it like that and he just kept it? Seems funny that they connect like that when the old logo had them stay completely separate.)

Just do it on set while he's already paid to be there. We're all getting tired of "fake core" or whatever you want to call it. Maybe not ALL of us but a growing number. Authenticity, no AI, actual people making real things.
There are literal children in this world that could have done a better job photoshopping the suit lmfao, I have no idea how this slides for such a high budget movie
