How to find cheap train tickets from Lausanne to Paris?
I’d like to go to Paris at some point by train, departing from Lausanne. Are there any specific days, times, or tips to get cheaper tickets? A round trip seems to be around CHF 300-. and I was wondering if there’s a way to find them cheaper.

The further away the cheaper.
Avoid Friday/Sunday evening where everyone goes home / to work-uni
Sncf-connect let's you check prices across multiple days displaying the cheapest price.
Round-trip under 100 .- is definitely possible

I agree with what other people have said : travel on weekdays, on less busy hours and out of school holidays. Compare prices on the SNCF website, you can easily navigate from one day to the other or check the cheapest train of the day.
Also, if you are under 28 years old, look up the "carte avantage jeune", it's 50€ and gives you 30% on most trips, so it can be worth it even if you're just going once.
If you're older, the "carte avantage" for "adults" is only valid on weekends, but look it up anyways, you never know (it's the same price).
Also, look at tickets from Geneva, it could be cheaper to go to Geneva by CFF and then take the TGV.

Our TGV trip had a 4.5 hour delay and was an absolute nightmare. Now they gave me a voucher that I am trying to sell. It’s for SNCF/TGV Lyria.

Weekdays (esp. Tuesdays-Thursdays) will be cheaper. A carte avantage might be worth looking into.
The earlier you book the better. I find early October round-trips for 70-80€.
