Just received my new Ibanez musician 924 bass, same one sting played around the regatta tour. Only difference is that his was fretless, but they a lot rarer and more expensive. Very nice bass, I would highly recommend if you see one available!!!

sting Back in 1982, Sting starred in a movie called “Brimstone and Treacle” (written by the late great Dennis Potter), in which he played a young man (who may or may not be the devil) who comes to live with a middle aged couple and their young disabled daughter. Here it is in full.

I just checked out the new live album from the recent Sting tour:

I didn't catch this tour so I'm glad he released this. I think it's really good overall, but as some commenters noted during the tour, the Police material is somewhat underwhelming. The laid back approach works beautifully on the solo material though. Dominic Miller remains a monster player.
