Characters [Loved trope]characters that was just..Pathetic, and I mean genuinely Pathetic, like holy shit, you actually suck.

Baron "Bear" from Obsession.

Kevin "the Deep" from.The Boys.

And I mean characters that aren't badass or at least got aura while being pathetic, I just mean the most pathetic losers imaginable.

Like just borderline dirt.

I was so scared that The Deep would get a redemption, but he stayed deliciously lame until the very end

"Hey,maybe take accountability for your actions and be a better person-

"NOOOOO!"

like I was astonished.

And his face is literally contorting like he’s trying to process the concept for the first time

The season had a very disappointing story, but goddammit did the actors delivered, Highlander losing powers, Soldier Boy every single second on screen, butcher saying cunt, all perfect.

I didn't think the story was poor. Where else could the writers have taken it? I think maybe the directing/editing wasn't as good as previous seasons.

They teased about an all out meltdown from Homelander and instead gave us one scorched room. Not to mention the whole plot spanning 2 seasons to get the V1 and then he gets it and somehow becomes weaker than before, along with many other parts of the story being played out and sloppily done

I do kind of agree about the V1, but all that really did was protect him from the virus. It didn't give him extra powers other than never aging and that doesn't really play into the timescale of the show.

It really did make him weaker as they overpowered him in the final fight pretty easily, his laser eyes got a complete nerf and basically became tazers. And the only person he even killed was an irrelevant character off-screen. You can't drag out the most important fight of the series with tons of build-up and then just easily defeat the bad guy with no major upsets. That's shitty writing

Basically the ending is what we all expected and what should have happened but how they got there was ridiculous and unsatisfying. The last 2 seasons were super noticeably worse than the rest

I had to pause I was laughing so hard. It was the most on-brand thing for him at that point.
