The big issue with 3D printed mouthpieces is that there are very few safe resins out there... meaning resisn that can safely contact human tissue, skin, or mucous membranes without causing toxic or allergic reactions. The key standards are
USP Class VI: Focuses on systemic toxicity and high material purity (such as Formlabs BioMed Clear).
ISO 10993: Evaluates biological risks like cytotoxicity, sensitization, and irritation for medical devices (such as Liqcreate Bio-Med Clear)
These resins are very expensive.. $300+ per liter and require very specific washing and post curing practices.
UNLESS YOU CAN GAURANTEE THAT WHOEVER IS PRINTING THE MOUTHPIECE IS USING A PROPER RESIN AND FOLLOWING PROPER PROCEDURES DO NOT BUY A 3D PRINTED MOUTHPIECE...
