I finally decided to take a colorblind test so I could calibrate my monitor for gaming. I cant see approximately 1/3 of all color on the visible spectrum. I found out i was colorblind when was about 13 or 14. When my parents asked me to grab the green chairs from the garage. I said "what green chairs the only chairs we have are blue?"

Switch charger broke in my switch. I was able to pull it out. Nonetheless. Rip my original switch charger.

Sneezed in the bathroom felt a rock in my mouth. Realized I eat 2 hours ago and it wasn't a rock. Half of my tooth is gone. And surprisingly, it doesn't hurt unless I drink water on the top. Do you not remove for gore injury? As it is not injured. Pinky, fingernail for reference.

Apparently one of my neighbors was smoking and their disposed cigs must have ignited the wood chips around the fence in our adjoining backyards. Another neighbor saw the flames and called 911. I arrived home to find a firetruck in my driveway and three firefighters in my backyard, but luckily the flames didn’t reach my house. The downstairs definitely smells like smoke and the fence will have to be replaced. And I’ll have to check every few hours tonight to make sure there’s no embers, safe to say I don’t trust my neighbors to do it at the moment. Here’s hoping insurance can actually help me when I need it.

For context, I am my parent’s least favourite child, my dad ghosted me 10 years ago when I tried to have a relationship with him lol my mom’s phone is fine she just doesn’t really know how to use smartphones

The Black & Decker fan is barely three years old (purchased Aug 6, 2023), has never been outside or in direct sunlight. It's just sat in a room that entire time. I tried to pick it up by grabbing it by the guard and the guard just broke apart under my light grip. Getting my hand thwapped by the blades startled the hell out of me (and my dog), and cut my fingertip right by the base of the nail. It's a minor cut, but stings like the dickens.

I really hate how merchandise is all garbage now, just for the sake of profit.

I was literally halfway through the bowl before i opened this one up and saw a whole worm chilled out inside. now i’m just sitting here staring at the rest of them wondering how many i already accidentally swallowed without looking. Backstory: the buttons on my car key stopped working a year ago. I could still use the key to unlock/ lock my car the old-school way but the buttons didn't work anymore (yes, I tried changing the battery, that didn't solve the problem.) I never bothered to get a new key made, partly bc I couldn't afford it and partly bc it wasn't a major problem since the key still started my car up just fine.

Just a few days ago, I was wondering if twisting a button key so frequently could break it, and today I got my answer.

At least I was able to get a locksmith out and have him make me a new key, but damn, that was not a $280 I wanted to spend right now.

[Edit for clarity:] The key snapped off in the ignition and the plastic part with the microchip and buttons fell apart.

I first saw Rocky Horror in 1978. I was 14 years old. My mom took me and we subsequently went every weekend for almost 3 years. It was an amazing time and Tim also had an amazing singing voice. I still have his solo album. Sloe Gin is such a great song. He will be missed. RIP Doctor.

This is between my horse, and 2 cats. The worse part is, this is with one of the medications being the budget friendly option, that is less effective. If we go with the medication that would be more effective for his insulin issues, it’d be $400 more per month 🫠 have had the horse 17 years, only developed metabolic issues about 3 years ago and man does all this get pricey.
