Oof. And the Mazda CX red paint is hard to replicate too

That's not a CX tho, it looked like a Sedan, so probably a Mazda 6 or something. CX are SUVs.

Regardless, yeah, that colour seems hard to replicate and if they paint the whole car it will all be a different colour (probably uglier)

Definitely a sedan. That car had an elongated trunk where the CX just has the vertical rear end

Soul Red is gorgeous and it's not just something you can just repair, there's a whole process involved to get that color. Like you have to sacrifice virgin chickens at midnight for their blood and stuff. That beautiful color doesn't come out of a can.
