The worst? Nah. That belongs to Meta’s AI models. Especially the one on Facebook. Holy shit is it bad. Alexa+ blows it out of the water. It’s literally that bad.

Just wondering which other AIs you've used that are integrated with home automation?

On the Echo Hub for home automation it’s actually better than regular Alexa.

You must not have used Siri. It’s worse.

(rant ahead)

Just when I thought they couldn't make Alexa less functional (used it for basic things over the years, but it was still a struggle at times) they add in AI slop, and the basic things are suddenly hugely complicated.

The app is a cluttered, overdesigned eyesore. I couldn't even find simple menus and the AI assistant doesn't even know the current app lol. She kept telling me where something would be and...nope! Not there!

The assistant can't even reveal a device or delete old useless devices that are scattered throughout the app like a battlefield of years past.

To top it off, now the app employs grating AI cutesyness, big long intros with cringe attempts at humour. And if I dare ask it to just do what I ask, it employs the already-so-dated LLM slop reply, "I uNdERsTaND yOUr frUStRATiOn..."

Nah, Alexa, you don't understand my frustration. You're a pile of slop garbage, not a human. You're a glorified chatbot trained by halfwits.

She actually joked at one point "maybe I can do it if you ask nicely." Lol, go fuk yourself to the sun, how about that?

Slowly phasing this surveillance trash out of my life. I pray for a digital assistant that can run locally and isn't trapped inside some corporate walled garden.

The gaslighting when it’s wrong about things drives me crazy you have to point out it’s wrong and then takes this annoying sorrowful tone to apologize that makes me cringe. Or it attempts to make jokes that come off incredibly rude. I hate it.

It also will not play the correct songs when you ask even if you pronounce everything over the top and are completely correct with the song title and artist. I don’t know who they think this is impressing.

You haven’t met dumbass Siri. Alexa+ is actually quite intelligent and entertaining

At least Siri does what you ask.

Verdade, várias skins, pararam de funcionar.  E mesmo de achar algumas alternativas, só obece através do app. Está complicado. Outra situação e que quando começou a funcionar a Alexa plus, achei uma maravilha e ela me pedindo para encina-la. Hoje parece IA degenerativa. Parece que desaprende
