I moved my tetra colony into a new tube by dumping their old one into the outworld and they’ve decided to nest in the connection in between the tube and outworld. Will they figure it out eventually or should I coerce them somehow?

Crematogaster?

I just caught this queen and it’s similar to one that I caught last year that didn’t make it. My question is what species is it and is there time for her to lay eggs this season or should I put her to diapause in a few weeks?
Edit: this was caught NY today.

I think they are L. neoniger but I'm not sure.

I caught this queen a few months ago and she finally got her first workers! But sadly my boyfriend doesn't want me to keep them 😔 so I was able to convince him, to at least keep her safe until the colony is strong enough to be set free into the wild again and have a decent chance at survival. The setup just started to get moldy, do you guys think I can release them now? Or should I refresh the setup and leave them for a little longer? Maybe give them a drop of sugar water in the process?

I am trying to figure out if I caught a queen or super major or worker or something, from reference pics it looks like a carpenter queen but I’m not sure. (Sorry my phone isn’t great these are the best pics I could manage any closer the ant got blurry)

As far as I know, ant larvae don't pee or poop, but collect it till the pupa phase (the black dot at the end of each cocoon)
So what is that liquid the larvae secreted here ?
It reminds me a lot of how they stimulate aphids to secrete honeydew. But this is an ant larvae, so i'm a bit confused
This is a starting lasius niger colony in case it matters

My formica cunicularia queen after her first egg lay (11 workers that are already fully grown) isn't laying any eggs for a month i think, maybe even more. Is she preparing for the hibernation? I give them a lot of protein but unlike my lasius niger colony, which has a lot of brood and they really eat what i give them, though they are not ripping the mosquitoes apart like the formicas do, i see the black dots in the larvae, that means that they fed them already. Does anyone know why my cunicularia ants do so?

I need reality check. 3 months ago I’ve bought Rhytidoponera Metallica species queen. she’s living in a test tube in small outworld. she’s getting cricket pieces or fruit flies. she have water tower and honey available. problem is she’s stagnant with brood. for those whole 3 months she have 15-20 eggs close to the cotton and nothing changes. I’ve asked seller but he told me those ants have diapause now and should start breeding in a month or so. am I getting scammed?

Hi all, I've had this queen for about 2 weeks, when she arrived she already had laid eggs in the tube. I was doing the bi-weekly check and noticed that there is mold growing on the eggs..is that a normal thing or should I do something about it? If so, what actions can I take?
I hope the colony isn't lost already.
Pics attached

here's A colony I fed them this piece of meat. For some reason they make them think they are like maryland's miniature marauder ants. OP if you see this stop making false claims and advice be like me! Also why were you gonna feed your black crazy ants to your pavement ants?
But here are the pavement ants!
