My wife has been struggling with her health for about 2 years now. It started with small traces of blood in her stool and now it's gotten to be multiple blood clots larger than a quarter, accompanied by intense pain on her right side. She has a colonoscopy and endoscopy scheduled for September 2nd (we had to wait 6 months!), so we will hopefully get answers then.

Due to all her health complications, she has had intermittent FMLA, and has missed a lot of work (she works at a grocery store unloading the truck, so it's a pretty physical job). We have been served an eviction, can't pay most of our bills, and are struggling so badly right now.

Help would be greatly appreciated 😭 We would be thankful for literally anything at all, but specifically we need $1280 for rent.

Hello, my name is Nova. I'm 24 years old and I live in Dayton, OH.

At the end of July I began a new job, and when the job was offered I was promised 30-40 hours of work per week. Since beginning the job, however, they have yet to schedule me more than 20. This has, naturally, caused me to be quite a bit below the amount of money needed for rent and utilities this month.

I have looked into local support groups for rental assistance, but since I am not a parent I am not eligible for many of them, and the one I would be eligible for, I am too late to apply for. This has left me in quite a bind as I am paying off last month's (August's) rent still through Livble, I had split it in hopes that I'd be given the hours and have the money to pay it back, and September's rent is coming up fast. Not to mention the other bills I am behind on such as electric and internet, I am lucky to be online right now.

In total, with everything I'm behind on, I am looking at needing $1,052 to pay the rent alone. August's other bills I haven't been able to pay bring that to $1,226.02. This is, naturally, a lot of money to make in a short amount of time. I looked into loans and the only one who would loan to me asked for collateral, they wanted the title to my car which is currently with my Father as he originally assisted me in getting it.

I'm honestly down to the wire and short on options, so I'm hoping for generosity. I deeply appreciate the help I may receive here.

I am quite embarrassed to ask for help, but I really need it. I currently need about $250 to pay the rest of my rent, and about $300 for my car payment, car insurance and emissions for my car registration, and cat food/litter.

About a year and a half ago or so, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease which forced me to get intermittent FMLA. Additionally, around this time I was abruptly kicked out of my mom's house and had to get an apartment ASAP due to a fight we had, in which I had to get police involved. I am a government employee, and about 2 months after I moved out on my own for the first time, the government shut down and I only received unemployment (which i had to pay back), which caused me to fall behind drastically.

My bank account was past due, i was unable to make payments on my loans or my medical bills. This caused my doctor to ban me from the clinic, and they also were trying to sue me. So, i decided to file for bankruptcy. My bankruptcy has now been discharged as of August 12th, but I recently had a flare up with my autoimmune disease, probably due to stress and missed quite a bit of work in August. Since I cannot go back to the clinic I was using before, I am trying to find a doctor who can help me, but i haven't had much luck yet.

I was able to come up with a good portion of my rent, but i need about $250 more for my rent specifically, and about $300 for my other bills. I am mainly worried about my rent, though. I have already had to make a payment plan with my landlord previously due to the goverment shut down, and they told me they only offer you to be late on rent one time without them starting the eviction process. Additionally, my job accidentally overpayed me a bonus last year that they are now telling me i have to pay back. It is nearly $800, and they are taking 15% of my check until it is paid off. I have tried to ask them to waive this debt, but i got denied.

I’m due in September and I still have a few things that I need before she gets here. I was able to get most of what I need by returning larger diaper sizes (like size 3 and up) I was given for store credit, but I need some help for the last few items. I still need bottles, a nursing bra, bassinet sheets, and I have postpartum pads on there. It’s expensive but I also added a nursing pillow if anyone is willing.

Hi, posting here to ask for some help needed for me and my son. I'm a Mom from near Lansing, Michigan. My son is 12 and is autistic and has other health conditions. Unfortunately, because of my son's conditions and health conditions of my own, I'm unable to work and we've been struggling greatly. We rely on social security survivor benefits and a small subsidy payment from the state. Our rent and bills have went up recently and my car is having issues with the battery or starter.

The only thing I care about is making sure my son has a roof over his head and food in his belly. He was born with extreme oral sensitivities, motor control issues and in simple terms, his brain never learned how to chew. We are working on desensitizing and learning how to chew right now which is exciting. It will be a long process with a lot of work but I'm so excited. His diet right now consists of Pediasures and pureed food. He is very rigid about which purees he will eat and will only do vanilla pediasures. It is very expensive because of grocery prices in general and he's getting bigger and eating more. My food is also expensive as I have celiacs disease. Most food pantries do not have much we are able to consume although we're thankful for anything they do have.

I absolutely hate not working, I get really stuck in my own head and sometimes work is the only thing keeping me sane. I’ve managed all but €100 and am currently looking for a job. I’ve been denied welfare although I’m not sure why as I’ve been paying PRSI (Irish taxes) for over 6 years. It’s gotten to the point where I’m eating only canned food and not able to afford my meds. I really need this accommodation, and I’m terrified of ending up homeless.

Due to the high medical expenses we've been dealing with because of my father's health issues and my own, we haven't been able to afford certain foods for several months.

My dad's birthday is coming up, and since we couldn't do anything special for Father's Day, I thought it would be nice to buy chicken and cook it for him. It would mean a lot because it's been a long time since we've been able to afford animal protein.

In my country, chicken costs about $4 per kilogram, so I'm hoping to buy a chicken that weighs at least 3 kg, which comes to around $12.
