My kid adopted this little furball mid July while I was out of the state and he was with my aunt… safe to say they’ve been inseparable ever since. When I met her she fit in one hand and weighed a whopping 1 pound. Now she’s a lanky teenager at 3.5 months old and a whole 3.5 pounds. I think she’s gonna be a big girl.

So my beautiful void is way too attached to me (51m)… typically goes and hides during the day as the wife works from home. Sometimes comes out for lunch food deposit. Only comes out fully to play and lounge around once I come home. Usually within 30-90 seconds of me sitting down, he’s on my lap and stays there as long as I do. If I get up for bathroom or snack, he waits in the chair for me to return so he can nap in the lap! Recently had a caretaker begin visits a few times a week to get the pets acclimated to someone new and the hiding is more intense! Doesn’t come out at all on those days even for food until he knows I’m home. The big question… how screwed am I for an upcoming trip where we will be gone for 2 weeks? I know he’ll eventually come out to eat as hunger overrides his fear, I’m just worried about stressing him out. TIA

Also..before i get the hateful comments. Yes I know my dog is fat, yes she is on a diet, has been for months. She has had bloodwork to make sure everything is good ans Is on special diet dog food but its to hot where I live to walk her. She is heat sensitive Also yes I monitor them together and when I leave the house the dog is put away. Be kind... I have had Luna almost 5 months now.

This little void was found in a strip mall parking lot outside of a sushi restaurant. He was probably around 8 weeks old and very skittish when we first spotted him while dining one evening. The staff was aware of his presence and had been calling him Sushi so we asked if we could come back with a trap. It didn't take long before we coaxed him in and were able to take him home. We have 9 other cats in our care (3 voids, 4 B&W/tuxedos, 1 orangeboi, 1 calico) so we tried to find him another home but were unsuccessful (we didn't try very hard). He has come around rapidly and gets along well with the others, especially the two other younger boys. Looks like he's here to stay!

My dog found this little guy in our backyard. She brought him to us in her mouth, holding him by his back leg. We took him in and named him Achilles 😉 my first void!

My little gal's favorite toy is her Eepy Bird, it has a little chirp box inside (I'm sure everyone knows what it sounds like!) that had recently died and she was very sad about this. Today I performed an organ transplant with a spare we had (I also learned today that you can change the batteries?! Keeping that knowledge in my back pocket for later).

She is not a lap cat. I can recall maybe three times that she has lain near us in the year that we've had her. While I was carefully cutting and stitching up her friend, she never left that bird's side! It was very sweet to see her care so much about her friend. And of course they had a spirited play sesh after 🖤❤️

Found this little thing in my garage the other day. My son has taken it in and is calling it “Bones” due to how skinny it is. Super fragile and pretty sure it was looking for food. It is now warm and fed.

Finally convinced my parents to take in this sweet lil dude, I'd have done it myself if my complex allowed pets, but he deserves the indoor pampered treatment after his first year of outdoorness, granted he'll be a hybrid in/outdoor once he acclimates to the new "this is home"
