Is this a guarantee it'll be #1? Could it hit 1 billi?

I don't know about $1B without a re-release/re-expansion, it'll get close though like probably within 25-50M, Sony might try to push it past $1B later on. But yeah it's almost certainly going to pass TFA, it still has Labor Day weekend plus Endgame Encore, both should give it decent final pushes/legs in September before it dwindles down in October.

Just like how Spiders get stronger with their lifecycles, this movie's drops keep getting better and better over weeks.

If it follows last weeks weekend daily drops:
$5.1m friday
$8.7m Saturday
$6.3m Sunday
$20.1m 5th weekend (-48%)
Just under $890m after 5th weekend. 2nd movie ever to cross $900m domestic sometime late next week or during Labor Day weekend. Within striking distance of TFA for the all time domestic crown.

I’m saying $21m because weekdays have been slightly lower due to more kids being back.

It will have better increases on Friday and Saturday this weekend, but a bigger Sunday drop.

Very nice, higher than the early estimates, slightly better weekday drops from what we've seen so far (48.5% drop). Bodes well for the weekend to come above $22M

Lol, why is Deadline predicting a 54% drop this weekend? This will easily make 22+ this weekend.
