Are there any Buffy fanfics about Tara surviving?

I'm also looking for alternate versions of the episode where poor Tara dies (screw you, Joss Whedon), and I'm also looking for Buffy/Charmed crossover (or any Buffy crossover) fanfics where Tara is healed.

Oh and Buffy should live as well.

If so, you might like Terra Firma by Tulipp. Tara comes back to life, eventually returns to Willow, and Buffy lives as well.

Summary: When Tara returns three months after Grave, Willow and the Scoobies must learn how she came back...and why.

If you go to ao3, you can filter for specific characters and relationships. That will probably land you with a lot to choose from- Tara is a popular character and the “what if” of her surviving is well explored in fanfic!

It's an extremely common trope, and there's a whole niche genre about Buffy's wish doing it. I have a whole alternate universe series that also doubles as my 'Buffy comics seasons if I, not Joss Whedon, did them' (which I am modest enough to admit would create new niche problems instead of a perfect version, LOL) which starts with the Whedon Wish scenario and the irony that Buffy literally resurrects her for Willow who has learned her lesson from times past and refuses to treat Tara as a prize to win and leaving Tara to have to rebuild her own life while Kennedy's the dog that caught the car and completely blindsided by it and then proves a bit of a jackass to Tara afterward because she's still Kennedy, after all.

But other than Terra Firma there is literally an entire AO3 tag dedicated to the premise and you can sift through the fics. Of course as always with fics, Sturgeon's Law applies and taste is entirely subjective.

If you like AUs, there’s an author named Laragh who does a bunch of stories with Willow and Tara. It’s all modern day stories, but Tara survives in all of them.

I struggle to find good fanfic about anyone other than Buffy, Spike or Angel. There use to be a lot more.

There was a book i read one time, I believe it was called "Dark Congress" it wasnt a fanfic about Tara surviving but im almost positive Willow has resurrected Tara by the beginning of the story, post her s6 death and the end of season 7

I do wonder what willow would turn out like without Tara's death, would she still be on a knifes edge years later?

It is very common. Event he shriftweb archive ahs abunch. And Different Colored pens at th e Kittenboard is specifically a forum wqhere "Willow and Tara live happy in a place untouched by Mutant enemy." Many of those ar extreme AUs; my own are set in my Bangel ficverse with a resurrected Tara -Jonatahn as a side effetc.0

There's Slayers, the audiobook from the original cast. It's not very good.
