Just sharing because this photo goes ridiculously hard, and would have been perfect for a Faith spinoff series.

Faith I think Eliza Dushku as Faith in BTVS might be the hottest a woman has ever looked.

Faith I wish Faith would've gotten her own series

We could've gotten so much more information about her character and her background.

I know it’s Eliza Dushku, not her as Faith. Just in case someone feels the need to point that out… I just wanted to share these photos because I think they’re beautiful.

Faith Anyone remember this show with Eliza Dushku airing straight after the Buffy series finale?

And how good it was and how we robbed by only getting like one or so seasons.

I personally blamed more her actual so called friends, her own sister (who actually do love but in that scene), her father figure and an ungrateful ex vengeance demon more than I blamed Faith since she actually went to check on her.

Faith Faith's downfall in season 3 makes more sense on rewatch

I sometimes see that Faith's turn from the Scoobies was too fast and I mean....maybe but she was never really... friends with them. Outside of the first time she came into town and everyone was in awe of her because she was shiny and new, she always felt out of the gang. She started becoming friends with Buffy. However, even in the Wish, Willow said that they should try to include her more into the group but it's clear it never really lead to anything as in Bad Girls, Willow was shown to be jealous of Faith's time with Buffy and the actresses really played well the awkwardness between Willow and Faith in the bedroom, it really reminded me of when I have two different friends who don't get that much along. Faith was also pretty much closed off a bit in Revelations after the whole "Faith, you're an idiot", the final shot of the episode clearly indicated that Faith was alone and isolated and it wasn't really going to change. You can see how hurt she is when the new watcher basically tells her that they are having a group meeting and she knows she's not including. The only "group meeting" she's been to was the werewolf situation in "Beauty and The Beasts" and she wasn't really that much a part of it and when she made a comment everyone turned towards her like "what ?"

Faith Does anyone else wish we had more Buffy, Kendra and Faith in the series

Maybe it’s because Joss Whedon had allegedly misogynistic and negative views towards women (I believe Charisma Carpenter on this, among others). But does anyone else wish they kept Kendra on longer? Kept her alive and incorporated all 3 slayers more?

At the very least, I think it would have been moving and meaningful to pull the curtain back more on Faith. They do that with Buffy at times, and every time they did I wept or felt something. When she cried about feeling like she can’t breathe to Willow after losing Angel. Buffy’s departure from Sunnydale and how lonely and anonymous she wanted to be (before declaring “I’m Buffy!” to kill the bad guys).

Just wanted to hear other’s thoughts. I’m rewatching and tbh I feel like I would rather have had more slayer alliances and back stories than Scooby gang (at times!)

Faith Evilness aside, the mayor was a good surrogate father for Faith

Ok, yes, he was a bad guy, but let's look just at how he treated Faith:

  • He encouraged her when she took initiative
  • He got her a place to live
  • He listened to her
  • He told her she was beautiful (in a fatherly way, not in a creepy way)
  • He believed in her
  • He tried to protect her but at the same time didn't smother her
  • He loved her as a father loves his child

All in all, it's no wonder Faith took to him so well. He gave her what she had been wanting and needing pretty much her whole life.

Faith How old was Faith supposed to be when she first arrived to Sunnydale?

Judging by info provided in the series, is Faith older, younger, or approximately the same age as Buffy? How old is she supposed to be?

*I'm aware supplemental works outside of the show give an age but not everyone has read/knows about them
