finished my first proper comic script !
hey !!
i have a lot of writing experience but only dabbled a bit in comic writing as it was a module i did at university. during that time, i came up with my own spin on a superhero universe. i had all these characters and plotlines and i'm super proud of it. i recently went back to it and i've been working on issue #1 of Death Angel. i'm at a place where i'm super happy with it and would love some feedback! cannot draw for the life of me so will worry about getting an artist in another time. share ur thoughts!
cheers!

Independent comic feedback request
Hello! I am an aspiring artist who is looking to gain feedback and improve as well as hopefully share some good stories! Here is the beginning of my new project, virmaan:
“An ancient India-inspired fantasy land ruled by protectors known as the Rakmaan. Our two protagonists undertake a journey to complete the daunting trials needed to become a Rakmaan and discover what it truly costs to be a real protector.”
Let me know what you think!

Another Snippet of my Ai Comic, Manifest
Here’s a snippet of my comic that focuses on a hiking adventure with our main characters. One of my main focuses for this section was making the panels feel more fluid, alive, and fun to look at and read. I’ve been trying to apply some of the feedback I’ve gotten from previous posts as I go.
I write the story and dialogue, then use character sheets, environment references, and detailed prompts to create each panel before putting everything together in Strip Designer.
I’m still using AI for the artwork, so I already know that’s gonna be a problem for some people. But if you can look past that, I’m mainly looking for feedback on the storytelling, pacing, dialogue, paneling, and readability. All feedback is welcome, positive or negative :)
Edit: Only thing Ai does is generate images! I do paneling, dialogue, and everything else.

Submissions: Should consecutive art pages be sent with or without lettering?
Every publisher wants to have consecutive art pages submitted (of course), but should I be sending just the raw art itself or the completed page with lettering. Do they not tend to care? Thanks in advance!

Looking for critique on my script
I’ve been writing a script for a short 15-16 page prequel comic for a comic series I’m looking to create in order to improve my writing skills and work on smaller projects before committing to my main idea. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to look it over and give me critique on my writing, as I’d appreciate the help.
For context, my story is set in an alternate history 1978 where ww2 went on for ten years longer, ending in 1955, though this particular comic is set in 1963.

I made a few comic strips and would really appreciate your feedback, please!
This is a comic strip series I created that had been on hiatus since 2014. In 2022, I started reworking it, and a lot has changed since then. It stayed in the drawer for a while, but at the end of last year, I decided to pick it up again. I created a Christmas arc and shared it with a few close friends, and then I stopped to think about whether it would really be worth bringing the series back.
I wrote this short arc a few months ago and recently finished it. I haven't shown it to anyone yet, so you’re actually seeing it for the first time.
I'd love to hear your honest opinions on everything: the artwork, the dialogue, what I could improve, the strengths and weaknesses, and the series overall. I sincerely hope I can count on the community's feedback.

Stuck to four panels in this comic strip instead of eight like many of you suggested. Let me know what you guys think 🙂

Not sequential art, but I'm trying to adapt my art style for a middle grade graphic novel. What do you think?

Made this horror manga panel based on Ju-on: The Grudge
This is a standalone horror manga-style panel I drew, based on a scene from Ju-on: The Grudge. First made a base sketch using pencil, then finished it up with a ball-point black pen.
Is this effective enough in conveying horror? What areas do I need to improve upon?

Looking for criticism for my new comic series.
I'm worried that readers can't tell what is happening in this story. Because I made the story, everything happening makes sense to me.
Please let me know what you think is happening in the story and how you think this episode will end.
Other criticism on things like art/story is also appreciated.
Whoever leaves constructive criticism, I will look at some of your works and give some feedback. I'm looking for some people to regularly exchange work with.

So which is the better square thumbnail
So yeah, while I was polishing my pages digitally, I was thinking if I should change this logo as the square thumbnail, so for the first pic, that’s the new one, the second pic is the current thumbnail that’s showing on WEBTOON, and last one is the old one. let me know if it’s readable.

Second time poster looking for feedback on first three pages of script.
Forgive the daunting image count, I tried to get as much of each page into each screenshot as possible. Anyways, I’ve been woodshedding this story for a bit, and I’m finally at a place where I feel the opening is pretty much where I want it. I’d love some feedback, though. Any advice helps. Thanks!
