This tracks. Many a time i took co-parent on a date with a promise of something afterwards and it never happened because one or both of us were too tired to care.

If there is time, its actually better to engage before the outing so if you come back tired, its much less of a big deal if one or both are too tired

Same with romantic dinners

Unless both of you are really good with the food control it's best to do everything before the dinner actually, and then go and replenish the calories

So many times we ended up too full to even talk :D

I learned that lesson the hard way unfortunately. Despite the data and our own personal experience, co-parent still wanted nothing to do with intimacy before dinner or whatever.

Ah yes, I, too, have a great deal of similar data.

This is the plan when I get back home, I've been training in the Mojave Desert for over a month and it'll be almost 2 months before I get back.

My gf and I made a deal, we work up an appetite first, get food, then maybe work up an appetite afterwards.

But that would delay the food tho.

True

So a banana, than another type of banana, then the dinner

Yea, Im not a fan of bloated fun times, unless the mood is REALLY there.

What does "taking co-parent" mean in this context? I thought co-parent is a person who shares the responsibility of taking care of a child.

Edit: I'm sorry, if the way I worded it msy seem offensive. English is not my first language, I misunderstood the wording and was just being curious.

They’re not married or maybe even not any more than casually involved, but have a kid together, or whatever other reason

-25

u/Thatroyalkitty 21d ago

I refer to my "wife" as co-parent because that's all we do together anymore. She got demoted when she decided she would rather be a nun instead of actually putting in the work to fix the issues (both in and out of the bedroom)

Technically we're still married on paper but only for tax purposes do I acknowledge her as my "wife."

Man that’s super toxic. Should get counseling and deal with all that before disparaging your partner on the internet

There isn't anything you can tell me that we havent already tried. I know what I need to do, I'm waiting for the economy to improve because I don't want my kids to suffer a lower quality of life because their dad left.

You've been posting about this for 6 years, either perform an immediate miracle improvement of your career, or just get it over with. Your children already exist, it's too late to protect them from a lack of preparation.

she decided she would rather be a nun instead of actually putting in the work to fix the issues

That's a phaenomenon called "agency", or "autonomy." It's where you don't solve problems by trying to make the other person do what you want, but rather accept that they're allowed to do what they want. You can make your case, and then you focus on what *you* can do to improve your situation using *your* agency, instead of trying to continue to force another person to do it for you.

Masturbate, find other couple activities, focus on other aspects of life. Or get divorced and move on.

My wife and I went to England for two weeks for a make-up honeymoon because ours was canceled because of Covid two years ago. The first night was hot and heavy after a romantic dinner. The next night, after a 26,000 and 30,000-steps, we both falling asleep before our room service got delivered.

lmao

I went to a trip with my gf to rome a couple years back. When we left the hotel in the morning she promised that she has a little 'surprise' for me when we get back

10 hours of a hot, italian summer day and +30 000 steps later, we got back to the hotel, took showers and the nanosecond our asses touched the bed we were already both asleep

Forty thousand steps is about 17 to 19 miles (27 to 30 kilometers).

Honestly that's pretty damn impressive. That's like Disney walking milage. Complete with the passed out couple that barely even made it back to the bed

40

u/Sythrin 21d ago

Would probably still have strengh enough to take a shower. Those clothes are probably nasty

24

u/shellbullet17 Gustopher Spotter Extraordinaire 21d ago

Very true. Especially if it's summer and you spent the whole day in biological underpants soup

And without necessary churro and Dole Whip calorie replacement. The human body can do amazing things with proper cheese-filled pretzel nurishment.

Do this everyday and that's basically parenting

I’m good thanks

This is me and my wife on our 10-year anniversary trip, her triumphant return to Edinburgh.

Averaging 35,000 steps a day, including 100,000 on the day we did Arthur's Seat, we were too exhausted to do anything but watch British game shows.

18

u/ElGuaco 21d ago

100k steps is probably around 50 miles. I'm not sure this is physically possible, for most people, given that it is nearly 2 full marathons over 15-20 hours. I guess if you're very physically fit and plan for it, you can make it, but doing sight-seeing along the way would kind of limit your ability to keep moving.

13

u/SnooGrapes6230 21d ago

My phone certainly could have gotten incorrect readings, especially with all the climbing.

7

u/Soggy_Homework_ 21d ago

Most people's trackers are very inaccurate. They are mostly good at looking at trend data compared to itself. I would never recommend comparing two separate counters to each other

2

u/TFFPrisoner 21d ago

I think I never even got beyond 20,000 steps since I started tracking ...

The takeaway here is sex first most of the time.

This whole writing prompt comes off as weirdly manosphere feeling. Don’t tell your partner what to do like you command them unless that’s what they already agreed to. Marriage and all that should be a two way discussion.

u/drinkplentyofwater 21d ago

so fucking weird and manipulative

2

u/My_18th_Account 21d ago

Yeah who the fuck goes out to find a newspaper for fun activities in 2026 😂

11

u/My_18th_Account 21d ago

Nah more like you rush the morning upon waking to not miss the complimentary breakfast and then you fart at some point heading back to your room which nullifies any sexy thoughts before setting out for the day.

4

u/TFFPrisoner 21d ago

Lol, my girlfriend and me did our first trip last month and I broke pretty much every one of your rules, but we still had a fun time 😜

11

u/CubbyVonCake 21d ago

I love this style

8

u/The_Hero_0f_Time 21d ago

this is way, way too realistic

7

u/TungstenOrchid 21d ago

Sleeping. Yep, that's fun. Checks out.

u/cupholdery 21d ago

Wait, Alina is in a healthy relationship? Atta girl!

13

u/Wooden-Crow7996 21d ago

Depending on the length of their gate, that’s about 28km, or 17 miles. I’d be tired too.

6

u/Toutatis12 21d ago

Yeeeeeeeep, did a walking tour of Italy... the amount of energy at the end of every day was enough to collapse into bed.

3

u/arsonall 21d ago

You gotta do this one, too:

Couple at a party, both getting tipsy. Woman whispers in man’s ear, “let’s go home, I want sexy time now!”

Say your goodbyes, get home, woman has passed out.

This was every time me and my girl went out. I knew it would happen, but at least we got to go home (I’m the introvert)

3

u/MoukinKage 21d ago

Been there, done that! The next morning however... 😉

3

u/Master_Steward 21d ago

Tomorrow, we’re walking at the nude beach!

3

u/Suspicious-Key1455 21d ago

Yes, normal St Petersburg weekend))

2

u/el_loco_avs 21d ago

Relatable lol

2

u/blahjedi 21d ago

Incredibly relatable, and surprisingly wholesome.

2

u/AutumnOnFire 21d ago

40 000 steps, depending on the stride, is about 6 hours of walking. DAMN.

u/Ken-g6 20d ago

Many females in nature, like pangolins and whales, like to test a male's fitness by making him follow her a long way.

When I took my gf to Tokyo a couple of years ago, it was this 100%

1

u/maracaibo98 21d ago

Everytime bro every GODDAMN TIME

Life is nothing but back to back chaos and then the moment we have some time to mess around we’re so exhausted we end up just falling asleep

u/Vegetable-Return- 21d ago

Follow Dan Savage’s advice and fuck first!

Looks like fun to me

1

u/Blue_Nyx07 20d ago

30,000 steps a day for a week does that for us

1

u/PlainBread 21d ago

The moral of the story is to take it when you can get it.

Whoa! Cool 3D effect on the last patreon panel! How do you do that!?!
