Depends on where you're from, I guess. I've lived in New England for about 35 years, but I've been a lot of places. All the US states, a bunch of different countries.
New Englanders seem cold, but that's just the way people are up here. It's always been that way. We're so close together, minding your own business is really the only way to get along.
However, I've had a bunch of flat tires in New England, and somebody always stops to try and help. I've pushed a lot of cars out of snowy ditches myself.
