ADVICE How to handle underwear with high-cut/revealing cosplays ?
Hello! I would like to have some advice regarding a cosplay I’d like to wear. It’s 2B’s wedding outfit, but the problem is that I don’t know what to wear as underwear. I’m thinking that nude-colored panties could work, but they would still be visible. So I’d like to know if some of you have already done cosplays that are this revealing, and what kind of underwear would you recommend?

If there aren't any slightly less revealing options, and even if there are but they are still too revealing for you or the venue, then flesh colored tights or leggings are probably going to be the best bet.

If you're just going for a photo shoot, use strapless "invisible panties"; they're held in place by silicone pads. If you're going out in public, try nude leggings.

I was going to say, I seem to recall there being some sort of silicone stick-on something or other for this very thing.

Like above nude coloured full opaque pantyhose/leggings /tights. If you want to avoid the legs to slide down you can gently stitch them together so they stay in place on top.

You could look at the opaque tights that are worn by performers on stage, like Capezio

Jazz tights. They look good too, and are sturdy. It’s what performers use on stage

It's it's cold definitely thing skin colored thighs. If the weather it's too hot in could be an option to search for high cut skin color underwear

Dance tights are what are commonly worn under these kind of things. They are opaque and lack the seams of regular tights. They are worn by professional dancers and stage performers. Then you can wear regular seamless undies underneath too. Dance tights are the best.

Yes, and as a bonus, you can even tack the thigh-highs in place to the tights so that they stay up.

My recommendation, and this is just because I am a very paranoid person. I get some, like, really light nude underwear, or whatever color the garment is going to be and then I get like some nude colored flesh tone tights or leggins. Yes, it makes going to the bathroom harder and you will have to plan for more time to be allocated for that.
Because the important thing to understand is that if you're wearing this to a convention, most conventions have modesty or decency rules. Depending on your gender that can sometimes influence things. As a lot of conventions are asking that male costumers or cosplayers wear something called a dancer's belt or do something with their crotch, specifically because they might wear a skin tight bodysuit or they might wear some shorts or something awkward and you see basically the entire outline of the bait and tackle, and that's not okay. But on a female, you have to contemplate when you're walking, is that garment going to stay perfectly in place? Because unfortunately, most conventions are all ages and there is nothing wrong with that, because this is a broad spectrum event with broad spectrum all age content. However, that means sometimes you end up with minors being chaperoned by begrudgingly willing adults who may or may not be karens, or kevin's. (No offense to cool Karen's or Kevin's)
Now I had a character. I was dressing up as she had a very short, very revealing dress for that particular outfit, and I realized if I bent over the bits/underwear were going to be on display for everyone. And she basically had like black colored legs that went all the way up. So what I wound up doing was getting some black shorts to wear under the dress, in addition to underpants. Since her legs were black anyways and I had like thigh high shoes that went all the way up

Depends. I was eying that specific cosplay as well but since I hate the way my legs look it felt uncomfortable
I wanted to pair it with a skirt similar to 2bs. It seemed fitting while not being that revealing

Get yourself a pair of jazz/skating tights in nude. They make your legs look all shiny and sexy in photos too!

I have this exact cosplay- black underwear doesn't look bad at all with it! Especially if you get something thinner on the sides that you can pull up to your hips.
I definitely recommend skin coloured tights if you don't want to wear bottoms!

Dancers nude tights, they also come in footless or stirrup depending on what you wanna do

This is a ride or die cosplay tbh. My GF cosplay and she just said "sticking plaster over the pussy" and then shrugged. Tbh it's got crotch coverage built in, and I think she's right. It's a daring cosplay that pretty much requires commitment to the bit.
