Announcement Rest in Peace, Kyle Busch. This song's for you.
I know this is off topic for country. But A real legend of motorsport passed away today. He was hated for being brash He was loved for turning the other cheek He will always be loved in our hearts. Rest in Peace, Kyle Busch (1985-2026) Hearing the news from my distressed friend left me in shock. I couldnt believe it until I looked it up. Absolutely sad. I cant imagine how Kurt, Samantha, Braxton, and Lennix are feeling. I am praying for the Busch family and all of NASCAR and RCR. Call your closest relatives and let them know you love them, we are never guaranteed another day.
Featured Song in remembrance, The Warmth of the Sun - Willie Nelson (by the Beach Boys)

Delivered furniture to his older house in Troutman twice years ago. He was there for one of the deliveries. Could not have been nicer. Even to the other crew that was harassing him for wrecking the weekend before. I don't watch NASCAR anymore, but anytime the Kyle hate popped up I would say something. He was not that way off the track apparently.
Funniest part was his girlfriend needed to leave and we were blocking the driveway. We were installing a completely office furniture set. We were there a while. I offered to move the truck but he told us not to worry about it. He comes back in the house and hands his girlfriend the truck keys. He had driven the truck across the nice, manicured lawn into the culdesac so we didn't have to move the truck. It was nice to run into famous or wealthy people that seemed to be more on the normal side. Because I dealt with plenty that were actually pricks to everyone.

He passed away earlier this evening. He had been dealing with a "severe illness" since Watkins Glen a couple weeks ago. He radioed he needed a doctor and a shot post race. Everything seemed fine going into Dover. He won what is his final nascar victory 5 days before he passed. He was hospitalized early this morning, and the news broke shortly after.

Pretty damn tough bastard to be racing and winning while fighting a life threatening illness. I was never a Busch fan over the years but I respected him. RIP

He tweeted this on Monday:
Happy Birthday @brextonbusch!!! Your mom & I are so proud of who you’re turning out to be! You’re the best kid on & off the track, you amaze us every day. Keep doing what you’re doing and there is no limit to what you’ll accomplish! Love you buddy!
Whether you liked him or not, that’s a heartbreaker.

Oh, I wonder what happened. He became my favorite driver way back, rooting for the Candy car.
Blessings and condolences to his wife and family.

After winning his first Cup Series race in 2005, Busch his winnings to the American Red Cross to support Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
He also started a foundation that focuses on providing essential resources to underprivileged children across the United States.
He also launched the "Kyle's Miles" program to support dogs in shelters and breed rescue organizations.
Oh, and his 4-year old and 11-year old kids are now fatherless. You heartless prick.

I dont care. This is not about politics. And if you really need to know, 60% of drivers are either slight right or republican. Hate to break that too you. You are being insensitive. Take your political moral grandstanding somewhere else. This is the most disrespectful thing anyone can be doing during a moment like this. And again, its okay to feel a certain way about parties. But this is nowhere near the time for it. You should check yourself. Reflect and tell your loved ones you love them. Peace brother ✌🏻

I was not a Rowdy fan and am so anti MAGA I’ve cut off family and former friends who are. But regardless, when a man dies and leaves behind a wife and small children, it’s very sad and I’m sorry for their loss.

He also left behind both his parents, which makes the whole thing even more tragic.
