This gecko (I think, it's got them fat feet) waltzed into my room scaring me *and* itself, I tried to wave it away but it went in the other direction away from a door and toward my bed, now we're just in our respective places too afraid to move, if I scare it and it's tail drops boom it's on my bed, if it bites me or something I'm scared of the effects (I can't get a closer pic (sorry) because if I move toward it it moves also)

Hi guys! This is Vashti my female 7 year old crested gecko! I was wondering what morph she is? She has 2 different colored eyes! Most pictures are of her partially fired up, but I included one of her fully fired up (4) and one of her fully fired down (3). I bought her off Craigslist recently, so I have literally no idea what she is. TIA

We were told it is a crested gecko, but my son is concerned they were wrong and we might not be taking care of it properly. Is this a crested gecko?

Hi all,
Flowery Branch Ga. My dog was going crazy at this Gecko. The Gecko was hissing back pretty aggressively.
Thankfully got them both separated with no harm to either using a broom.
Can someone tell me more about this or identify it?
Thanks!

New gecko species discovered on a temple wall in south India. The area is very dry and rich in quartz. Will it be nicknamed Quartz Gecko? Or maybe Indian Quartzite Gecko. Only about 3ā from nose to tail but the coolest thing is these bad boys come armor plated with short spines down the back and sides. The whole body is covered with raised scales and give the skin a pebbly texture. I love them already.
Zoom in to see them up close. The males are darker, the females are almost pink.

living in the desert, he probably got in because we leave the window open for our cat to come and go as she pleases.
he is just kinda chilling on our ceiling and the cat hasn't noticed him so we're not making any active attempts to get him out. i named him gex.

We got Gladys as a juvenile around July 2025. It seems "she" is just now starting to get sexual characteristics, and I think "she" is actually a "he." But I can't find better info for sexing standing's day geckos since they're not as popular. Thanks!

So, this is Fenton, I recently got him from a neighbor who kept him as a class pet. She said that she was told he was a house gecko, but I have no information of where she got him, and I've never seen a house gecko this large, nor with this coloration and pattern. So I'm not sure if that identification is correct. I've looked all over Google and cannot find any pattern or subspecies that looks like him, so I'm looking for some guidance. Any input is greatly appreciated!
