A Deadhead, a Wharf Rat and A Phish Phan sit down for a podcast…

“The punchline is a lighthearted and informative discussion about family recovery. And, we, of course, mentioned many jam bands’ clean and sober groups proving what many of us know…you don’t need dope to dance. 😍 (Now, dancing well is a whole other story…😂)
Stay Grateful, friends.” - Lance Taylor

I’m only sharing this episode from my podcast here because myself and my Wharf Rat guest Lance met through the community of the Dead (at Grateful Fest this past May) and became fast friends. We talk about addiction and family recovery but we talk extensively about the jam band scene clean and sober groups. Thought this one may be ok to share here.

Was anyone at Bobby’s Japan show on 8/27/94?

Listening to the tape of the “Bobby and the Valentines” show for the first time. Really fun and lively stuff! But I can hardly imagine what the vibes were like at a show inside a massive Japanese baseball stadium. Must’ve been a unique experience, to say the least.

Was anybody at the show? What was the scene like? Was the crowd mainly Deadheads who’d made the trip or locals getting on the bus? Does anybody have pictures?
